test flown my today- Tragic !!! Launched into 5mph wind , NO right bank at all, almost stuck it into the ground it went wild.
Done a check and the aeleron servo brass attachment came loose and i had no control at all - most dissapointed mate it could have been a right off had i not been flying for years- un detectable at first glance.
Poor first flight - but it lived for another day-JUST...s
Sorry to hear that at least she is flyable for another day. Remember to mix some rudder in with the ailerons she banks over slowly you won't be able to roll her as such. Losing an aileron on this bird could be fatal.
They failed on my, I have had 3 of them fry themselfs. I replaced them with hxt900's. Work much better. Rudder one failed on launch locked hard right and did an impressive circle around us doging the cars and landing on its wingtip snapping the wing. Nothing major just ended the days flying.
Yeah they are stunning for what you pay for them. Replace all the servo's however as the standard ones pop. That particular on met its end at Tokora, It is a friend of mines, both of us were doing a high speed pass and I managed to clip his elevator with my fuse and it nosed into the tar runway at full speed. Confetti.
