I just cliked the "Like" button for this video, and added it to my favorites. Then I noticed there is one (a single one!) "Dislike" for this video.

Who in the hell does that, really? If you don't like Tommy, you shouldn't be watching Tommy's videos. And if you like him, what's there to "dislike" in this particular video? This song kicks so much behind it's obscene!

Yeah, they are hearts. And he has a cross drawn on the guitar - he is a Christian, and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ - as it says in Acts 16:31.

I saw him back in 1989 or 1990 and he was amazing then. He was supporting Eric Clapton and it's Tommy's performance I remember. Not just a great guitarist, but a great performer and entertainer. You'll love the concert!

The guy is an absolute freak! I just wish he would play something(anything!!!) other than those bloody horrible sounding (won't mention the brand) planks that he plays. I have to say that to my tatse it is the least pleasing acoustic guitar tone & always detracts from my listening pleasure with Tommy.

You're a guitar snob. Just because it hasn't got Taylor on it and sounds like Jingle Bells doesn't make it a plank. Maton make good guitars, and when the best fingerstyle guitarist in the world chooses to play one you should be asking yourself what wrong with YOUR taste. And I've got, among several valuable guitars, a £3000 Brazilian Santa Cruz, but one of my favourite to play sometimes is a £20 ebay "Cruiser" - but it sounds just right for Nick Drake stuff.

plus that he loves that guitar, it it one of his first ones...and his fingers know that guitar very good, so its just good that he uses it instead of selling his name like every pop or rockstar do..

it's actually not the first one, in fact its probably about the 20th one of them that Maton have made for him. Theres a vid on here somewhere of him playing (on Woodsong I think) where he's asked the question about the state of his guitar and he explains that he has to get Maton to make him a new one every 1-2yrs(exactly the same spec/wood/profile) as, because it has very little finish and due to TE getting wacky with the brushes and percussion he tends to wear holes in them pretty quick.

I saw Tommy live in Manchester, England on the 17th November 2008 and he walked on stage playing this tune...me and my mate were gobsmacked just like the in-house audience in this video!!! I keep watching this over and over it's incredible. I hope he tours the UK again this year.
