this is pretty cool, but i've also seen a similar trick where you put something a little stiffer (like a playing card) in front of a piece of plexiglass and put the pen/pencil through. how is THAT done? a magician let me fool around with the material and everything was legit. it was a real (one-piece) pencil, the card was part of my own deck, and the plexi didn't come apart in any way.
