Wow what to say, origin really sucks first of all I also can't preorder mass effect 3 cuz it thinks im underage. I tried that a month ago so it doesn't matter now i preorderd it in a local game shop anyway. Now second thing, i downloaded mass effect 3 demo and tried to add my friend so that me and him can go and play together. now get this he sees no friend requests from me nor i see any from him so I can't add him. and third it constantly keeps crashing for me. It's fucking annoying as hell.
I regret so much that I've bought BF3 only because of this damn EA Origin. Oh no, it's actually Origin BETA. Yes, they name it as Origin BETA so you can't complain too much about it, though it's their main gaming software/platform.

i bought mass effect from them and i can get to the launch menu the it just doesnt launch when i click play. i called ea for a refund and they dont allow refunds for digital downloads. fuck these guys.
@nooneofinterest96 Hey I can help you with this problem. I had the same problem. It's the damn launch program - it SUCKS! So what you need to do is open the Mass Effect install files and go to the Binaries folder. Inside you will find the an icon that is a silver M (the mass effect logo). This opens the game directly. Just make a shortcut to it on your desktop and you can play the game. IM me if you need any more help.

@RioDangerous The sad thing is, "Origin" was one of the many developers that EA bought out in the late 90's, just to get rid of them as competition. EA is notorious for doing that... They have a history of buying out entire development studios, then disbanding them just to get rid of competition.

BF3's a perfectly good game that's kind of hurt on the PC by Origin. I still recommend playing it, but I recommend getting it for PS3 or Xbox 360, not PC. Even though the graphics are better on PC and I prefer a mouse and keyboard for FPS games, it's just not worth having to use Origin.

Takes me 30 minutes to join a server anytime I want to play because Origin constantly tells me I've been disconnected from the Login Server. Just have to cross my fingers and hope it connects. Was excited for BF3, but Origin has completely ruined it for me. Hopefully they fix this garbage or I'll just end up playing COD simply because I'll be able to connect.

I checked memory usage of Origin vs Steam. Steam at idle is using a very tiny 12mb of my memory, while Origin is using 136mb... At IDLE.
There's not even anything to show WHY Origin is using up so much memory, there's no screenshots or videos in the online store like Steam or anything. So where is all this heavy memory usage coming from?

I got BF3 day of release. And nearly one week later I'm still not playing. I've uninstalled something like 5 times, and I have a shit download speed. So I have to wait nearly half a day for it to dl and install. EA are trying to dominate cloud gaming, like everything else in the gaming industry. If this was steam I would never of had this problem. FUCK ME! I WANNA PLAY SOME BF3, STOP TOTRUING ME!

@kenny123499 Rule No. 1: Never buy a new game. Always wait until its 50% off (its not worth 25 Euros in the first place) and the first few patches are published. Being patient is the best way to deal with software products. Especially EA is overpriced 50%.

Takes me 30 minutes to join a server anytime I want to play because Origin constantly tells me I've been disconnected from the Login Server. Just have to cross my fingers and hope it connects. Was excited for BF3, but Origin has completely ruined it for me. Hopefully they fix this garbage or I'll just end up playing COD simply because I'll be able to connect.

I checked memory usage of Origin vs Steam. Steam at idle is using a very tiny 12mb of my memory, while Origin is using 136mb... At IDLE.
There's not even anything to show WHY Origin is using up so much memory, there's no screenshots or videos in the online store like Steam or anything. So where is all this heavy memory usage coming from?
