  • Take a darn good look at what has happened to Chicago's gay district/community by coddling this "transient youth" gay movement and your attitudes would change. They've been given too much of a "voice". All I know is that, as a teen, I knew I was "different" but, luckily our single parent households kept us busy with constructive things to do other than kill ourselves or each other. Thank Lady Gaga for that 14 year old boy too. He quoted her lyrics and "thanked" her before offing himself.

  • never thought an airline would actually participate in this, but it just goes to show that everyone in our community is working to show their support.

  • nice vid, but who is the cute guy at 0.12 ?

  • I am proud to be a straigh ally.

  • Proud of my co-workers for helping gay teens. I've already heard kids in my sons 6th grade class make fun of kids and call them "gay" in a derogatory term. That kind of behavior is not allowed in my house . All kids are a gift to this world!

  • hmm, I know one of the guys in this video...AA is the best.

  • Thank you GLEAM and American Airlines.

  • “In the end we remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends.” MLK Jr.

    Thx for speaking up!

  • I don't see how these testimonials can help individual teenagers who are currently in crisis. This campaign seems like it's made for adults who are over the hump. It just "sounds good", and oh those pretty pastel colors.

It sounds like all the work has to be done by the teenager alone. We can't let this campaign eliminate the need for fighting homophobia.

  • Being told to "stand up for yourself" at the end of this clip is the most insulting thing. If the teenager knew how to stand up for himself, there wouldn't be the question of suicide.

  • strange: the video doesn't move unless I do full-screen.

why the depressing music? if it's not supposed to be depressing, then don't make it depressing. LIVEN IT UP, people! We have to associate "it gets better" with the possibility of JOY.
