  • hi there:)

I need your help for choosing monlogue for audition for musical theatre university. I can sing really well but I have never done acting and also English is my second language. So please if you have any advicea about monologue I will be very grateful.

    thanks

  • hey you guys i sing! check my youtube page and tell me what you think!!!

  • Thank you very much. This is amazing. By the way, at every audition that I've had in the past three years, I have made that rookie mistake. NO MORE!

  • The tag read: How to Audition for a Musical, but you didn't talk very much about that? Auditioning for Musicals seems to be one of the MOST ASKED LESS ANSWERED questions? I have no idea what they're looking for? No real idea where to look when singing as I've tried looking over they're heads and looking at them as an audience, I've used blurred vision too. Not sure which works? I also get really nervous and sing too loudly, then my voice breaks up. I have been unemployed for a long time.

  • Thank you this helped.

  • If you're singing, can you move around?

  • very well taught & helpful(:

  • im a director and everything he said is correct. Make sure you all take notes.

  • That was great! Any more like this one perhaps?

  • The part about picking a monologue was a great bit of advice! I never thought about that before.

  • Very good advice here, this all applies to auditions in general. Sometimes certain parts require additional items such as dancing, which they may teach you quickly at the audition, but it will depend on the production and the role. Learning specific items or character types usually applies to when you receive callbacks.

  • intresting

  • Thank you so much!

  • I will keep this in mind if I ever need to audition for one. Thanks for sharing this
