This will help a LOT.......I've wanted to me an actor on broadway ever since I was 3 and sat down to watch The Wizard of Oz....Now Wicked has developed that want into a NEED! :)
I need your help for choosing monlogue for audition for musical theatre university. I can sing really well but I have never done acting and also English is my second language. So please if you have any advicea about monologue I will be very grateful.
The tag read: How to Audition for a Musical, but you didn't talk very much about that? Auditioning for Musicals seems to be one of the MOST ASKED LESS ANSWERED questions? I have no idea what they're looking for? No real idea where to look when singing as I've tried looking over they're heads and looking at them as an audience, I've used blurred vision too. Not sure which works? I also get really nervous and sing too loudly, then my voice breaks up. I have been unemployed for a long time.
i have an audition today and i was really freaking out because i did not feel confident at all but this video really really really helped me so much, thank you.
i was very fortunate to have steven fenley as a teacher and i learned more form him in one semester than i have in years of acting...his advise is for sure great advise
Very good video; a lot of useful hints, though nothing too new. Mainly I like the presenter: he is a confident presence and gets his point across without much effort.
I am hot and not shy girl! FEELING very yummy! I know my body and can make pleasure for myself!. wana cum see me? come visit me at - FriendlyFlirts _dot_ COM - my user-id there is Lillian-xmeb chat soon on cam :) pioqlmy
Very good advice here, this all applies to auditions in general. Sometimes certain parts require additional items such as dancing, which they may teach you quickly at the audition, but it will depend on the production and the role. Learning specific items or character types usually applies to when you receive callbacks.
thanks!!!!!

Thank you very much. This is amazing. By the way, at every audition that I've had in the past three years, I have made that rookie mistake. NO MORE!
