  • @stargazrt4 are the windows open??

  • Hello. i just got a 1 year old lovebird. (male) & he hasn't been handled much.. How should i get him to trust me? & how do i get him to not fly off?

  • poor hedwig xD

  • lol i was about to say..Hey ur window is open.thats good they all sharing the bath.

  • Hmmmm ... a few people missed the Like button:O

  • @las723sp Because those idiots think the window is open, that they need a bigger bowl, or that the breeze is going to kill the birds like the wind kills outside birds (whatever :p.) They need to get a life and get their facts straight!

    ~Rodney

  • @stargazrt4 Ha ha ha, wind killing birds? Maybe predators or debris in storms or something, that's funny. The bottom of your windows are very clean and clear. :D I love your birides, they're so cute!!! ^_^

  • My lovebird dislike to bathe , what should i do ?

  • @CuppyBooxx givehthem running water.

  • I love the Pastel Blue peachfaced. If I bred my dutch blue would she have a baby that looks like Tootsie??

  • love birds arent aggresive at all and defiantly dont bite hard

  • there so cute

  • that budgy was cute, trying to get in on the action

  • how do u tell em apart? if you get one, will it be noisy?

  • What a beautiful bird. I loved it. 1 How do I learn?

  • Awsome lovebirds !! :)

  • nice video

  • cooll nice video

  • can i have skittles?

  • They're so beautiful.. But I've only ever heard bad things about the lovebird. Is it true they're aggressive and bite a lot and hard? Do you have any experience with the Catherine Parakeet? :)

  • You mean Lineolated Parakeets. Linnies are lovebirds on ritalin. I like them a lot. Before we started raising lovebirds, we were asked to raise them instead, but we are here to break the stereotype of lovebirds. People who say lovebirds are bad pets have never seen one raised properly. They can be the most devoted pet on the planet.

    ~Rodney

  • @stargazrt4 i had gotten a love bird from a friend a few months ago, and it was feed and given water, but the bird was neglected of attention and was never out of the cage, my friend told me that the love bird i was buying, was female, and was mean. i took her home, cleaned her cage, and gave her fresh food and new toys, she was a littly fiest for the first week, i had kept the cage door down for he to come out. know shes just a lovable yellow ball of feathers since she come to live with me.

  • @stargazrt4 part 2

i guess she's learned to gain my trust, the only thing she dose not like, if i stick my hands in her cage, while she sitting in it. but yah she the best to have around

  • did u name all ur birds after candy?? so far i heard skittles and tootsie whats up w/ that?

  • With that clutch of babies, yes.

  • IS THE WINDOW OPEN LOL?? ma bad cap locks

  • There is a screen.

  • ha hedwig is like maybe i can sneek in what a funny little budgie

  • how i can tell who is the female and male cuz i got 2 masked lovebirds from 3 weeks and i still have no idea who is the male and whos the female

  • and the the lovebirds with red face and the lovebirds with white face are from the same kind right? i mean they are all peach faced lovebirds

  • a lovebird can't be aggresive to another lovebird right?

  • @N1c3ass4me quite the contrary they can be extremely aggressive ...if you are planning to have more than 3 just make sure they have plenty of room to play ... i have 12 of them so believe me i know =)

  • Where can I get a colorful plastic play gym like that?

  • Got to my YouTube channel, and click the logo to my e-bird store at the top. You will find the playgym we use... it is a King's Interconnecting Acrylic one. We absolutely love it. (look under TLA favorites or Playgyms categories).

  • oh sorry, thought there must have been something.

  • You have some really pretty lovies, hope you don't mind me asking though, is that window open?

  • There's a screen.

  • I want to get a lovebird but i dont want breeding so would the one bird be ok or should i get another male. and which is best to get a male or female? like in playfulness and dosn't bite much?

  • how can u tell the diffrece they all look the same?

  • They all look different. It's not that hard.

  • very adorable

  • Yar birdies are so cute(loves birds lol)

  • heya im getting a new love bird but before i do get one what do i look for in a healthy lovebird

  • they told me that lovebirds are supposed to take a bath daily, but mine doesn't like water at all he takes a bath once in 3 weeks or so..:(

  • Your bird is fine, "they" are idiots.

    ~Rodney

  • to Debbie, its sad, but never buy smaller birds from a pet store. Sometimes you will get cockatiels that are good, and my conure is a sweetie ( XD) but lovebirds and budgies are usually mass produced... and in the smaller birds, its super hard to get them friendly if they aren't raised that way.

My advice is to never buy a bird that isn't already friendly. Who knows what happened or didn't happen to make them that way. Find a good breeder and buy pre-friendly birds.

  • of course the lovebirds are mean to the budgie. My lovebird would do that too..shes such a brat.

  • are their wings clipped?. if not how come they don't fly all over the place, i have a pair of peach faced love birds now for about 8 weeks, and they are not used to us at all!!., when i let them out, its a nightmare getting them back in the cage.

  • No, they are not clipped. It is pretty sad that your birds are only babies and not used to humans. Why are they not socialized? Breeders fought, left them mostly in a cage, no playgrounds? Ours are very social, and the oldest is 8 years-old.

    ~Rodney

  • we got them from a pet store, they told us the birks are 12 weeks old at the time, so now they will be 20 weeks old, and they are still not used to us, ive dont lots of research and tryed lots of different things, but nothing seems to work.

  • The birds are very pretty.

  • cute

  • How did you learn your lovebirds to bath. My lovebird is afraid of water. He only drinks it and then gets as far away from it as possible. Pls help me...

  • Should just leave a small bowl of it out and don't bother the bird and eventually if they want to get in it they will.

  • aww peachies! so cute!

  • cute birds, outta the window, where the forest or those trees are, it looks like its from twilight

  • Hedwig is brave to stand up to those big guys!

  • q lindo :-)

    muy hermoso!!!

    los tenes desde que ernapichoncitos¿?

    como se llaman¿?

  • Hi, i was allso wondering what the best toys would be for a birs cage or a bird jungle qym. Thanks

  • Look at our blog.

  • great video! seriously i mean that honestly.. nicely done.. i think if i had more time i could watch it over and over again :]

  • they are so sweet :P

  • the white chested love birds look like my 2.most lovebirds won't tolerate other birds. they go for the feet and sometimes eyes of other birds.

  • Are those windows open???

  • There is a screen.

    ~Rodney

  • very pretty birds :-)

  • Awh how sweet.

  • skittles is a pretty bird.

  • my mum had a love bird and i had a budgie and they loved each other. they lived in the same cage and kissed each other like love birds do. CUTE video

  • probably because it was just one lovebird and one budgie

  • They look like they're having a great time:-) My little bird Fritz loved to take a bath with us (sitting on a leg or arm) or in the kitchen sink. I had a budgie, but she got very jealous of it and I had to find it a new home. You made a nice happy video:-)

  • Added on from before, didn't know about the vitamin B3 thing, and when I heard about the budgie trying to get in, all I could think of was that song about the Love Shack xD Its the lovebird's shack

  • all so cute! also the budgie! :D nice house you got there

  • ii will recomend to close that window or else

  • Or else what?

    ~Rodney

  • Wont they fly out the window ?

  • There is a screen on the window.

    ~Rodney

  • Lol, can't say I didn't do the same myself before, just you don't have super expensive high resolution camera so maybe the fine screen doesn't show, but my birds seemed like they would talk with birds outside, either that or the feeling of the morning from outside made them a bit more vocal

  • lol your birds are youtube stars

  • Poor bird at 00:23. He must be a loner...

  • Loner, that is momma's bird! He is spoiled rotten and loves it that way.

  • oh. forgot to write this. can you pick parakeets up? will they peck or bite you? im actually really scared of mine, i think its because i am not used to them because i just got em yesterday.

  • thats a good way to bathe them? or just for lovebirds? (i have parakeets)

  • If they feeel like bathing they'll usually just bathe in the water bowl. Clean it afterwards!

  • Great videoand beautiful birds.

  • hey its me agian joshua anyways im sorry for every thing posting my number on youtube anyways i think that you ment i wasent sopose to sell ths girl on youtube feeds a huge macaw that i enjoy watching her hand feed she is my age and plese accept this apology thanks

  • Aw, how cute! I have a friend with a Quaker who will sit on her shoulder or head when she showers and sings like crazy.

  • Poor Hedwig wanted a bath so bath. I hope (he/she?) got one.

  • She did!

  • So sweet! I like one of the bird sticking his/her butt in the water.. So cute and other bird try to rub his face against the cage - just like wet dog trying to rub its face against the chair, carpet or anywhere.

My cockatiel, Sunny has no interest to take a bath.. just wonder why?

Thanks for sharing with us. I enjoy to watch all your vlogs.. :)

  • thanks! They are independent I guess lol

  • Where is Ashley and the other green parakeet? I love Ashely!

  • Ashlee and Piggwidgeon were foraging in the same room on the floor and the other cages.

    ~Rodney

  • Hee, hee, these little bath episodes are really cute... Our adult budgie Babi will not bathe on his own (although he used to before reaching adulthood), but our newcomer Bingo really enjoys a bath and had gotten into the habit of bathing in our finch's cage in her bath! (She doesn't mind at all...)

  • Question for you both. Why do you have your windows open while your birds are bathing? Aren't you afraid they will catch a chill? Birds are known for getting sick from drafts. Just something to think about.

  • They are like experts with taking care of birds...I'm sure they know what they are doing.

  • There's nothing to think about. These birds originated in the wild, they take baths in the wild, they need the sun to produce vitamin D3, they chose to take the bath, wind or breezes do not chill or make a bird cold; especially when it is over 70 degrees outside, they sun bathed after taking the bath to dry off, drafts are no more than just the wind, these draft theories came from old men and women who needed a sweater in 80 degree weather writing about birds back in the 80's.

    ~Rodney

  • The only birds who get sick from drafts already have respiratory problems.

  • i want to adopt ONE but the thing is i live in london

  • Are the windows open? I cant get my cockatiel to bath, or play with toys.. any advice?

  • Yes, they are. Try a mister, take it in the shower with you, let it bathe in wet, dark leaf veggies, a large bowl, etc. Use treats for motivation, etc. Put his treats in the toys.

  • Wow, first to comment! lol, very good video. Super cute =P
