Cycloneous.. hey brother, I appreciate this post. The beautiful thing about the First Amendment is that was specifically designed to protect unpopular speech and protests. Symbols and political positions that are well-received dont need protection, bcuz no one attacks or supresses them, but our country's nobility lies partly in our ability to publicly allow different opinions & displays.. IMO, the NAACP is at war with that righteous freedom.

Too true now days people are too sensitive. I a lot of people now days people are so sensitive that they are willing to impede freedom of speech. It isn't racist to show respect to your ancestors. Besides when people censor something it gives that thing power. If everyone was saying Nigger every day the word Nigger wouldn't have any power. The Sons of Confederate Veterans, an organization made up of the descendants of Confederate Soldiers and servicemen (of which I am a member) marched in the Homestead Veterans Day Parade.

Despite the fact that by Congressional act recognizing Confederate soldiers as American Veterans, the National Association of Always Complaining People claimed that black people were offended at the sight of the guys carrying the Southern Cross in the parade.

Its just stupid and nobody should pay it any mind.
