The first Four years he didnt do much to see his son. all he did was sent a few cards to his son, Bruna supporting the family while his lazy old model did nothing. they slept in separate bedrooms for crying outloud. If Bruna would have never passed away, Sean would be in Brazil.
But she DID pass away, so the boy needed to go back to with his father. None of anyone's business if they had marital problems or not. Bruna's family & Sean's step family did the WRONG thing. Good riddance to them, hopefully they'll never be alone in the same room with him again.
David was not allowed to see Sean until he took it to Brazilian courts, and even then Bruna and the rest of the Bianchis and eSilvas blocked him at almost every path, even after Bruna died the games continued for more than a year

The in-laws paid HIM so that they would not be indicted on aiding a kidnapping, even though they're guilty of doing so. It's so simple, give Sean to his biological father and allow the family to see Sean every year.
Problem: the judiciary system both in Brazil AND United States lack common sense and love attitude.
Sometimes money (lack of real love) gets more important than anything else.
*If a foreigner wants to live in Brazil it's not considered a crime, this is the Brazilian law! : )
But in the U.S. a foreigner who tries a better life here is considered a criminal.
