I like the Disney classics and Pixar movies equally, just in different ways because I think they are two different types. The thing that disgraces Disney is DISNEY CHANNEL. The older Disney Channel shows and movies were good like Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, Kim Possible, Even Stevens, Zenon, Cadet Kelly, etc. Most of the old Disney Channel Original Movies from the early 2000s and before were good because they told true touching stories like Double Teamed and Gotta Kick It Up. I miss that!

@pleasethinkofme uh, the little mermaid is from 1989, tarzan is from 1999 (still more than 10 years ago), and mulan is from 1998. people are referring to anything after then, like disney/pixar, as not being as good. it's still good, i agree, but not quite as good. but no, those three movies are not all that recent.

@pleasethinkofme the problem with the new movies is it isn't both gender entertaning, and not adult entertaning. I still watch the classics. The new ones are either only made for kids. Mulan-kids:war, Mulan, father was in war Parents: adult humor, etc. Tarzan-kids:war and invaders, the mother-son relationship. Adults: the humor, as well as the actuality of the story. All of these have humor that is not corney, but funny to kids and adults. now-movies try too hard to be funny.
