This episode clark proposes to lana telling her his secret then at a party for jonathem who won the election she calls him and this happens, he gets devistated and asks jor-el to get her life back , going back in time, however jorel tells him that life of someone else he loves will have to be taken, his wish is granted and then after then at the election party ( again) she calls him without knowing the secret instead of getting hit by the car clark stops the school bus a
okay so, i haven't saw smallville since this episode but i have been watching catch up episodes and i am REALLY confused, i thought jonathan died way before lana did i am really really really confused! CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP? thanks x

She got irradiated with kryptonite doing it because Lex planned it that way. She had to leave forever because she can never be anywhere near Clark again without killing him. :( There you go Lois! @Liverpool5563 you must have missed the episode where lana faked her death. she set a clone of herself that lex made in her car and then blew it up, she framed lex and then ran away to china... of course that was after clark went to jor-el and brought her back to life because obviously she just died. this scene was in season 5. your talking about season 6.
I love kristin kreuk, but i have to wonder, if her character really died like this in season 5, I think that would have been really amazing, and I dont think her character would have been remembered by so many people with so much hate.
The only downside is that there would have been less kristin kreuk on tv!

@Tinu91 clark went to jor-el and asked him to change what happened to lana. jor-el sent clark back in time to reverse his decisions that day (proposing and telling lana his secret)..but jor-el warned him that if he did mess with fate, someone close to him would die, which wound up being jonathan. =(

in my opinion, michael rosenbaum sort of made the show, once he was gone, the show depreciated... This episode would've been a great way to end kristin kreuks character but instead they gave Jonathan Kent the shows dumbest death in an episode which didn't even emphasis his character.
No in this episode clark tells lana his secret then he proposes to here she accepts and when a drunk lex calls here she goes to check up on him but he finds out she knows clark secret and follows here so she dies but clark turns back time and doesn't tell here this time but also doesn't propose but still she goes to lex but this time clark stops the bus in time. another episode she dies when clarks gets a call form the future and at the end of season 6 she fakes here own death.
Well she doesn't as far as i know she is forced to leave at the end of season 7 but comes back for 5 episodes in season 8 and in the last episode she leaves again.
i really preferred season 1-7 season 8 iz just plain boring n stupid. i hate season 8 wit all these new characters, n y the hell did they kill super girl, the show isnt named superman its smallville so i think tht they both wud make a great team. n y they just dont finalised lana's death. either she's dead or she's not. her death is becoming pretty boring!
Because in the comics she's more of a recurring character than a main one she mainly appears in the superboy comics (superman early years). I guess the show puts more emphasis on lana than the comics because clark didn't meet lois until he became superman and smallville is set MUCH earlier than superman.
actually pretty much the villains came out to early, but yeah lois is to early to show up, so did bizarro, brainic, Zod and also for lex luthor he was enemies with superman longer then they have in smaville.

Anyone found out what music is at the end of the scene? what orchestra music it is?

@DeLenoy its one of the many instrumental compositions never released on soundtrack by "Mark Snow" the only way to listen to them is either on youtube or asking them how to take the audio and mute the voices from the episode it was used in using the DVD boxsets of each season

agreed, still my fav smallville episode of all-time. even though the time warp thing is ALWAYS lame, but it was used briliantly this time in that someone important DID die in the end. the acting was great as well, i think tom welling sucks ass as an actor, but he was brilliant in this episode

No in this episode clark tells lana his secret then he proposes to here she accepts and when a drunk lex calls here she goes to check up on him but he finds out she knows clark secret and follows here so she dies but clark turns back time and doesn't tell here this time but also doesn't propose but still she goes to lex but this time clark stops the bus in time. another episode she dies when clarks gets a call form the future and at the end of season 6 she fakes here own death.

Well she doesn't as far as i know she is forced to leave at the end of season 7 but comes back for 5 episodes in season 8 and in the last episode she leaves again.

i really preferred season 1-7 season 8 iz just plain boring n stupid. i hate season 8 wit all these new characters, n y the hell did they kill super girl, the show isnt named superman its smallville so i think tht they both wud make a great team. n y they just dont finalised lana's death. either she's dead or she's not. her death is becoming pretty boring!

Because in the comics she's more of a recurring character than a main one she mainly appears in the superboy comics (superman early years). I guess the show puts more emphasis on lana than the comics because clark didn't meet lois until he became superman and smallville is set MUCH earlier than superman.

actually pretty much the villains came out to early, but yeah lois is to early to show up, so did bizarro, brainic, Zod and also for lex luthor he was enemies with superman longer then they have in smaville.
