Let this be a warning to spiritual seekers. I've been told that there are less than ten real Sioux medicine men left, probably not much more than five. I was told this by a highly regarded medicine man, but not well known outside the rez, because he doesn't put his face on tv and youtube, or in books. Most real medicine men won't publicize themselves. I know you all are looking for the truth, however, wisdom comes through scrutiny. Question what you see and hear. I doubt these people are true.

the red road would be known as the right path in some beleif systems like christianity.... buddhist , christians, natives..... they all seem to have the same message yet only the christians are the ones who label everything as evil and constantly judge.... they use their religion as a fashion not a way of being... 75 percent of them atleast

I'm currently in Washington (state - not DC)

I suppose I do receive many "spirit visitations" which are helpful in this or that way. I try to remain open to that. But sometimes a little "temporal validation" is nice too??

I don't know if the tribes maintain any traditional healers anymore. It's something I've been curious about. Have they all shifted over to modern medicine?

Because of life experiences, which have taught me to know better, I don't trust modern medicine so much anymore.

I have watched this video many many times now, and am both made glad and sad by it. Glad to know that Sacred traditions and wisdom are alive and being passed on to others. But also sad to see how far we have strayed from our proper selves and our Sacred path.
