i really hope you are not being serious about pomplamoose being the best since r.e.m. i think it is shameful to even put them in the same category. i have been listening to r.e.m. since the early 1980's (i was 8 years old, believe it or not) as my older siblings introduced me to great music. r.e.m. was revolutionary for alternative music. pomplamoose is a dime-a-dozen hipster band. come to brooklyn and you will see and hear people such as this band everywhere, everyday.
