One more way to add ur text animation to GIF IMAGE is to: convert Gif to AVI mode then take it to 'Nero Vision' give text animation in it and save it as avi file in Nero. In Nero u can display text up to the end of ur Gif. And then convert it in to Gif in Ulead Lead Gif Animator-5,

u can add text to a gif image in Jasc Animation Shop 3.11 it's very simple and u can also add ur own effects in it

the software is only 8mb in size

it's so easy u dont' need tutorial for that

and right click on the image and u will find

the option to add insert text effect

Man, I don't get this. I have a bunch of diff. frames in this gif. Do I have to add text separately to each frame to get it to say one thing?

yes u can add text to one frame only

and it will show up in say 6 frames

in transition or

as per ur choice how many frame u select!

when i try to import and image like you do in the beginning of the tutorial it won't let me do that...i get a message saying something about closed paths...any idea how i can get around that? thanks heaps
