you can#t compare these 2 cars. the R8 has a 4.2 engine and the lambo has a 5.2 engin (420 HP vs 560).....the r8 don't even wants to "piss" on the gallardo. but just wait a while - the R8 gets a new and stronger engine soon, then it is called R10. and by the way, that engine is the advanced engine of the the gallardo 560. at least then the R8 will blow the gallardo away (sorry for the bad english)

i have to disagree. i think it looks stunning in my opinion. an R8 passed me on my way to work and i instantly recognized it and it is definitely a headturner. I don't know if you've seen it in person, but that is the best way to judge. you must see up close and personal to appreciate most cars. but yea a gallardo looks much better.
