The April Ironman in Arizona was moved to Nov. Because of the weather conditions. It had the highest DNF of any Ironman. It sucks that they lost someone in the weim. I am always afraid of that, that is why I train so much for the swim.

Talk about a bizarre experience. Warm as hell after the bike leg. Swim was a bear. Ready to go back; try and get it done right this time. :)

I hear you man. That was brutal... yet at Ironman Florida 2007

the water was perfect, as was the rest of the weather. but the overcast on the bike leg was nice.

yea they had 2 pull him out and took him to the hospital where he died. I think it was heart failure.
