Took me since 1998 to get this far, since I was a little kid afraid of the dungeons. Now, I'm 22 and at the second half of the Spirit Temple and ready to beat this game. Truly an epic game. I intend to return to Skyward Sword too, since I'm halfway through it to the attuning of the sword's power.
@SerenadeofTwilight Your comment made me smile 'coz I'm at the same situation as your. I play this game since I was 11. I never bought it, tho, I used to rent it every fuckin weekend to play it over and over. But I was scared to shit, specially with the ghosts parts: that's why I never beat the Forest Temple: after de Jabu's dungeon I did the time travel part and got stuck at this temple...I dont know if u believe, but I used to DREAM about zelda's universe, xD
first time ever hearing this song, and my body just felt really weird...like a tingling sensation all over, as if....i've heard this before, somewhere, sometime long ago....
@Blazureokami I agree but you could honestly say that about a lot of dungeons, not just in Oot, but all Zelda games. I actually prefer dungeons that are longer and have more puzzles
enough w/ the flying pots!!!! if we took the time to listen to the music of this temple do you really think we're not experienced enough to know to block the pots!?
@Autonova Wetting your pants just for some pots? I have a little *trick* for you. Press R immediately after you entered the Spirit Temple and the scary pots wont hurt you. xD
@klitri1 I'm not sure about that, don't you need Sheik to teach you the "Requiem of Spirit" for you to get back there as a kid? Plus you need the Medallions anyway for Ganon's Castle... Your theory is blasphemy I say!!
This is one of the best video games ever made. Quite possibly THE best. So deep, so captivating, so real. And virtually zero bugs the whole way through.
Well "apparently" the game intended for the shadow temple to be the last temple, hence the Requiem of Spirit and Spirit Medallion appearing second last in their respective areas, and why you don't need the Lens or Hover Boots to complete the spirit temple. That being said, you don't need the Silver Gauntlets or Mirror Shield to do the shadow temple either.
@Marblez3 Slightly mistaken. You can't GET TO the Spirit temple without the lens. You have to be guided through the sand-storm by a Poe, which you can't see without the Lens. And I'm FAIRLY sure there's at least some part of the Spirit temple that required the hover boots...
@mastermindgokuto ... 99% IS almost entirely. And it's actually more like 99.99%, since there is one Gerudo male born every 100 years, and there's more than one Gerudo born every year.
I read somewhere that Gerudo women kidnap Hylian men when they need to have kids...
@mastermindgokuto More than likely they are like other all-woman tribes in that they descend upon a village, kidnap a few "lucky" men, use them for baby batter, and murder the crap out of them.
@nervousystem79 I forgot that the pots hit you when you enter the dungeon, since I hadn't played in a couple of years. When I ran in like an idiot, I just about jumped off the chair I was sitting in, because I didn't see them; and my t.v was turned up loud, lol. xD
I would save at the start of this temple, complete it, turn off the console, and keep doing the temple for fun :D the atmosphere is incredible the temple is awesome and fun the soundtrack is hypnotizing ... Ocarina of Time forever -3
Koji Kondo is a master composer, i remember just pausing the game and just falling away in this song, meditating in a trance almost, and the best part is is that it was infinite and never stopped...
The spirit temple was always my favorite from the beginning to the end with awesome theme music and great puzzle solving, cannot forget about fighting those ugly ass witches at the end.

@hailwindham Iron Knuckles, I used to be scared shitless of those guys when I was a kid. I hadn't played this game in forever, and was suddenly in the mood for OoT.
Playing through it I noticed a few things: 5 of the 7 Sages are women.
The gerudo race is almost entirely female.
The two witches combined, and instead of a big, ugly witch, or a monster, they became a sexy sorceress.
Thumbs up if you get what I'm getting at about the developing team...

@CousinStudios4
Actually, the Gerudo race is 99% female, the only male is Ganondorf o_O
I wonder how he was born, and who's he's dad? WTF!!!
