Why does everyone who does a drum cover of this particular (great) song SUCK SO MUCH? And by the way dude, have you ever actually listened to the song?

the double bass is SOO off. When it's supposed to be a straight double bass pattern, I keep hearing a
bbr bbr bbr bbr bbbb bbbr bbr bbr bbr bbbb bbbr
instead of a
bbbb bbbb bbbb bbbb bbbb bbbb bbbb
(the "b" represents the beater hitting the drum head, and the "r" standing for a rest). I broke it up into 4/4 best I could. It's a straight beat pattern. But I kept hearing those damn annoying rests or off beats in your double bass. I'm a fucking guitarist, and I could do that better in a week..
@Lovemetal629 if I could use my friends drum set, and a camera that worked. Now, I can REALLY tell when the double bass is off. Only because when you're a guitarist, and you think you're off sync, you either have to listen for the bass line (harder to do), or listen/feel the bass drum being hit (a lot easier. Trust me). I can see you're not that far into practicing, but learn how to get the double bass right. My friend is a bassist, he went to drums randomly,
@Lovemetal629 and did a perfect 200+bpm Double Bass roll PERFECTLY!! And it was only his 1st time playing drums. Doing a 16th note snare roll like you were TRYING to do, but FAILED, is easy, even for me. Oh yeah, and don't tell me the double bass is correct for the straight rolls. I've got PRO STUDIO HEADPHONES for RECORDING MUSIC with higher bass levels, so I can actually hear the attempted double bass.
this sounds nothing like 12 HUNDRED at all... I'm just a beginner on drums because I'm learning guitar and piano at the same time, and probably I listen to 12 HUNDRED more than this kid because there are so much mistakes and missing parts in this so called "cover"
Jesus Christ, I'm sorry to say that you make me hate the song "12 Hundred", you mixed up so much of the bass and snare battle riffs, but you at least have speed in your feet. Just work on keeping your riffs steady and in beat.
