The thing that took me the most was that yes, the iPhone display/setting is getting very boring. The only reason I wanted the iPhone 4S was due to Siri. Iris is for Android but it is such a horrible app, albeit it's a cross of Alpha and Beta stages, however Iris is not a viable solution to Siri. It's a tough choice for me because I like the iPod function of it, that really hits home with me. Droid is just so user friendly though. I feel i have more control over my device. Tough choice for me...
I have the rezound and I watched this video by using this device... But many people as themselves why iPhone is more popular? It's very simple.. iPhone is the king if the apps... Many people complain about the droids because if the apps but most of the apps work so much better on the iPhone and some cool apps are available on the iPhone only. However I got the rezound because it rocks!!
How about color gamut and shadow detail? I've seen side-by-side comparisons between some phones, and the Rezound's "black" is a dark gray, with muted saturation. The Samsung Galaxy, Motorola Droid RAZR, and other phones have almost real black as black, and with far punchier saturation levels/gamut and are much nicer on the eyes, even if they aren't 341PPI... though it is ultimately about the customer's tastes and needs... :) )
@Andrewdad2Gaming Right now, the Rezound and the Galaxy Nexus would be my two choices. Of these, the Rezound is less expensive and has the best audio features by far. With 4G and their 720p displays, both are excellent for YouTube and browsing the Internet.

Just thought I would point out the fact that the rezound is not running ICS so it doesn't have proper support for dual cores. This means the processor benchmarking wasn't a proper test of the phones true ability.

Htc rezound is just a better phone all around. When you ask an iPhone user, "what makes an iPhone so great"? They give dumb answers like "It's awsome". Specs,size,4g,true hd screen,speed, front and rear camera,y not to mention more bang for your buck. 199.99 htc rezound 32gb of storage out of the box. 199.99 iPhone 16gb and you can't add anymore storage. IPhone has no customization options. Just boring! Get with it people. I want my smartphone to actually be smart.
@Jfreshh1337 Siri's pretty good and it's better than the couple of similar apps for Android. But it's not all that much better. I experimented with Siri and couldn't get it to give me what I wanted, so I left it out. The video is already pretty long.

On the other hand, I'm not a pricing person. And Wirefly doesn't sell AT&T phones/plans. Your best bet on finding out the pricing you asked about is to visit the sites of the carriers you're interested in. Last I heard, only Sprint had a true unlimited data plan for new customers, but pricing is not my strongest subject.

My brother has Rezound and i own Iphone 4s myself. I have seen both devices pretty close and my personal pick is deffinatly the Iphone 4s , its the better gaming device without a doubt , much faster with much better fps , not to mention the possabilities you get if you jailbreak it and the things you can pick for it since Iphones are the most popular phones around there , games and apps of all kind. To sum it up both phones are great and i would say its a matter of personal choice
Iphone are not the most popular phones out there, 62% of phones are Android these days and only 38% Iphones. People are starting to change from the borring Apple devices that still in this day and age lack 4G LTE speeds.
My Rezound can stream full HD movies without a glitch. Until Apple decides to go to 4G LTE I have zero interest. The internet on the Rezound is over 20X faster, it's just like my Utopia Fiber Optics internet at home.
Apple is behind the times 4G LTE has been out for a year now.

@misujerr It's funny... we call these things "phones" but they are really pocket computers. Most people use them 98% for computer/organizer purposes and 2% for traditional phone purposes. You're right, though... they are still phones.
They both have competent phones. I think the iPhone's phone function is a little bit better than the Rezound's, but just a smidgeon. Both make perfectly good calls.
My wife looked at the iPhone screen when we were at the Verizon store the other day, and commented on how small it was, she was much happier looking at the Rezound. Come upgrade time in April, she'll be getting a Rezound, I'm picking mine up this week since the price just dropped.

Dude, stop apologizing for the iPhone. You don't to keep apologizing for the fact that it's not as spec'd out as the Rezound, and that iOS isn't as good and functional as Android. @Tapoutbro911 4s if you want to be like everybody else. Rezound if your going to use it mainly for entertainment. And razr if your ok with the trade off of slim size for a slightly slower processor (razr 1.2 gh, 4s 1.5 gh, and rezound 1.5 gh, I say no for the nexus IMO.
@Tapoutbro911 the main thing it has going for it is the screen's clarity and brightness but the way the screen looks makes it ugly as well. Only few will notice that you can see the bits on the screen which in turn looks odd. Its very unnoticeable though, so really all it has that's unique is ice cream sandwhich but that's already out or coming out, I'm not sure when, for most other phones. But the rezound has a very nice screen as well. I say go to a verizon store and pick which one appeals 2 u

@HUNvagyok As far as I know, the Rezound is only for the US and it will work only with Verizon in the US. I understand that the HTC Sensation XE has some features similar to the Rezound. However, the Sensation XE is not sold in the US, so I have no experience with it.

I was having a hard time deciding between the two phones after all the good things I've heard from others about the iPhone 4S, but the Rezound seemed to me to be the better phone "on paper." You've just made it much easier for me to choose the Rezound with confidence. Thank you!
iPhone is probably more reliable, but in my opinion it's a phone for smartphone newbies. Even with a jailbroken phone, your options of customization are limited. If you're looking for a simplistic phone that you can't do much with, iPhone is for you. If you're looking for unlimited customization and the ability to make your phone into anything to want it to be, Android all the way. <3 HTC.

You want facts ok. iPhone 4S is running a chipset that is already a year old and tuned down to 800MHz from 1000 for battery life and to keep the heat down...and it's still faster than most brand new android phones. iPhone 3GS is 2 1/2 years old and will still run iOS5. I'd like to see the original Droid run ass cream sandwich. All android has is 4G and those points go to the network not the phone. They have a massive screen and 1.5 GHz processor which is a battery hog. Solution...giant battery

@UslennoX I don't think that Verizon currently has new unlimited data plans, although people who had unlimited plans get to keep them. There is some good news, though... Verizon is currently doubling the data cap, which is a nice holiday gift.
@UslennoX i believe verizon does have unlimited text talk and 2gb of data which comes out to about $120/mon and i dont know if they do it where your at but for a limited time only you get 4gb of data for the price of 2gb which is $30. hope this helps you out.

They're ear buds. If you're serious about blocking sound get the real Beats headphones because those are good. Better than Bose in my opinion. Honestly, I don't think anyone would be able to tell the difference in the quality from the phone just by listening through earbuds. Setup and file types play a big part as well. Android is most god awful ugliest shit software I've ever seen. That being said, 4g blows iPhone 4s out of the water. The audio for Rezound isn't better. Bob you only got 80 mflops on the iPhone 4S when you did another review. I can't remember which review that was. I definitely believe that score is inaccurate.
The iPhone 4S skips a test in the rightware browser benchmark test and in order to get an accurate linpack score you have to run it several times until it gives you a "Precision" score like 2.22
i'm definitely doubting the linpack comparison here...the iphone is fast im sure but definitely not almost twice as fast, i dont think its even as fast as the rezound...the thing i noticed was on the iphone version you could change the settings of the linpack app which could very well completely change the final score greatly
@TheMetalspring666 You may very well be right... it is likely that I didn't have Linpack set up properly. There's little documentation in the app to explain how to use it. I would be pleased if someone explained how to set up Linpack to do an identical comparison, and would re-shoot that part of the test.

On the other hand, I'm not a pricing person. And Wirefly doesn't sell AT&T phones/plans. Your best bet on finding out the pricing you asked about is to visit the sites of the carriers you're interested in. Last I heard, only Sprint had a true unlimited data plan for new customers, but pricing is not my strongest subject.

My brother has Rezound and i own Iphone 4s myself. I have seen both devices pretty close and my personal pick is deffinatly the Iphone 4s , its the better gaming device without a doubt , much faster with much better fps , not to mention the possabilities you get if you jailbreak it and the things you can pick for it since Iphones are the most popular phones around there , games and apps of all kind. To sum it up both phones are great and i would say its a matter of personal choice

My Rezound can stream full HD movies without a glitch. Until Apple decides to go to 4G LTE I have zero interest. The internet on the Rezound is over 20X faster, it's just like my Utopia Fiber Optics internet at home.
Apple is behind the times 4G LTE has been out for a year now.

I am torn between the two but think I'll go with the Rezound for the iBeats audio and price is lower. OH and is the Galaxy 2 II on the Verizon network? @misujerr It's funny... we call these things "phones" but they are really pocket computers. Most people use them 98% for computer/organizer purposes and 2% for traditional phone purposes. You're right, though... they are still phones.
They both have competent phones. I think the iPhone's phone function is a little bit better than the Rezound's, but just a smidgeon. Both make perfectly good calls.

My wife looked at the iPhone screen when we were at the Verizon store the other day, and commented on how small it was, she was much happier looking at the Rezound. Come upgrade time in April, she'll be getting a Rezound, I'm picking mine up this week since the price just dropped.

Dude, stop apologizing for the iPhone. You don't to keep apologizing for the fact that it's not as spec'd out as the Rezound, and that iOS isn't as good and functional as Android. Also, those are not widgets on the iPhone. It's simply apps in a folder. Android has folders too, and had them way before iOS ever did.

@Tapoutbro911 the main thing it has going for it is the screen's clarity and brightness but the way the screen looks makes it ugly as well. Only few will notice that you can see the bits on the screen which in turn looks odd. Its very unnoticeable though, so really all it has that's unique is ice cream sandwhich but that's already out or coming out, I'm not sure when, for most other phones. But the rezound has a very nice screen as well. I say go to a verizon store and pick which one appeals 2 u

@HUNvagyok As far as I know, the Rezound is only for the US and it will work only with Verizon in the US. I understand that the HTC Sensation XE has some features similar to the Rezound. However, the Sensation XE is not sold in the US, so I have no experience with it.

This was a great video. I was having a hard time deciding between the two phones after all the good things I've heard from others about the iPhone 4S, but the Rezound seemed to me to be the better phone "on paper." iPhone is probably more reliable, but in my opinion it's a phone for smartphone newbies. Even with a jailbroken phone, your options of customization are limited. If you're looking for a simplistic phone that you can't do much with, iPhone is for you. If you're looking for unlimited customization and the ability to make your phone into anything to want it to be, Android all the way. <3 HTC.

You want facts ok. iPhone 4S is running a chipset that is already a year old and tuned down to 800MHz from 1000 for battery life and to keep the heat down...and it's still faster than most brand new android phones. iPhone 3GS is 2 1/2 years old and will still run iOS5. I'd like to see the original Droid run ass cream sandwich. All android has is 4G and those points go to the network not the phone. They have a massive screen and 1.5 GHz processor which is a battery hog. Solution...giant battery

@UslennoX I don't think that Verizon currently has new unlimited data plans, although people who had unlimited plans get to keep them. There is some good news, though... Verizon is currently doubling the data cap, which is a nice holiday gift.

They're ear buds. If you're serious about blocking sound get the real Beats headphones because those are good. Better than Bose in my opinion. Honestly, I don't think anyone would be able to tell the difference in the quality from the phone just by listening through earbuds. Setup and file types play a big part as well. Do you honestly think they'd throw in $120 headphones? Seriously, those earbuds are garbage. Audio is Apples game and has been for some time now. The earbuds that come with iPhone 4s are very well built and sound awesome. Not to mention the Siri connectivity with them lets you do anything without touching the phone. Overall quality of the two

The iPhone 4S skips a test in the rightware browser benchmark test and in order to get an accurate linpack score you have to run it several times until it gives you a "Precision" score like 2.22

i'm definitely doubting the linpack comparison here...the iphone is fast im sure but definitely not almost twice as fast, i dont think its even as fast as the rezound...the thing i noticed was on the iphone version you could change the settings of the linpack app which could very well completely change the final score greatly

I would be pleased if someone explained how to set up Linpack to do an identical comparison, and would re-shoot that part of the test.
