Great job with Zero/Hour, Ben. I just wanted to ask for clarification's sake, when you say that you had used Sony Vegas 9, was it the Sony Creative Software Vegas Movie Studio v.9.0 Platinum Edition or Sony Vegas Pro 9?

hey! your film is really sweet! Im making a short horror/thriller at the moment. do you make original music or is it soundtracks? i aim to have my shorts looking as good as yours as i get better!
a. We used Sony Vegas 9 to edit the film, and all explosions/effects except some lens flares were done practically using pyrotechnics and camera tricks.
b. The font was just done using the titler in Vegas 9 and creatively keyframing a transition
c. We are working towards completing two features before next spring, shot on the RED and 35mm film respectively.
d. Sound effects are a mix of Designer Sound FX and reversed foley effects we pulled from Freesound and FXhome.

But i loved the short, a good mind thriller, hard to follow but just need to look at it more than once. The cinematography is on point as well as the attire, and props needed. I know of the time constraint was not there we could have seen more of a twist to leave us with a "ohhh" effect .
As always, great job! And fun to see something quite different from what you've done before. Joining a 48-hour film festival very soon, so will be fun to see in some way what you guys go through :)
@BenHughesStudios Which character's voice? The speech by the traintracks is admittedly rough, but short of that, any reverb is added to seam the past/present transitions. Thanks for watching, anyhow!
Dude! this is so badass! Awesome sound. great acting.

@MightyKnip Yeah, we used the 'actual' Sony Vegas, so Vegas Pro 9.0e, not MovieStudio.

The acting was outstanding best I've seen in a long time.
I found story just a little hard to follow but the full production played its part as I suspect you wanted.
