At least 52 inches. This ride is amazing I rode it last saturday at night and is crazy. The music is really high quality, and is a really fun coaster. A great addition to Universal Studios.

ok, i have a friend who knows THE manager of Universal Orlando Resort, who is also overseeing the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, and my friend just talked to him today and he, the manager, said that everything is going great for that Rockit, and that if things continue to go well then the ride will be opening on Sunday, August 16, 2009!!!!!! I promice you I am NOT making this up, and that means that for now, the official opening date for the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is August 16, 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!

there will not be any queue holdup because you dont pick your music until you are on the ride. There is a touch screen pad on every lap bar and you have about 30 seconds before the ride starts to pick your music.

that would be awesome if they would give you little machines in line where you could actually make your own music and then listen to it on the ride, so you can maybe customize your ride and still have a lot of fun while you were waiting in line, i think that would make the sensation a lot better since you can produce and make your own music and ride with it and everyone has their own music so they can listen to their own customized music individually as you ride the ride :)
