wow, some people dont know much about RC cars, you're not messing up your engine at all!! since it's basically a chainsaw engine after all it can handle constant heavy loads. it's a gasoline engine obviously and this is what RC cars are for, either racing or bashing. my only question is what type of gas do you run? premium or 110 racing?

on R/C gas cars its centrifugal clutch. holding it in place like that create resistance on the wheels causing the clutch to slip againt the endbell on the crankshaft. It happened to my Kyosho V-One-S

@vai2iant I know how a clutch on an RC car works. But if it slips on full throttle theres something obviously wrong to start with. Theres much less friction between the tires and the ground than there is between the clutchbell and the clutchshoes on full throttle.

@Lillie1986 to settle this it depends on what kind of tires he has on it it depends on if the tires are made to go off road that means on the tires there are more treads leading it to to get more on an off road journey but if he where to do a burnout on the dirt less friction no breakage but if did a burnout on the street more friction causing some damage so yea as long as he has the right tires to do a burnout on then he can without worries but if he had tires with more traction then damage
