Knowing Charlie personally he is one of the funniest guys I know. Having spent a few hours with him and Freddie Cannon at the hotel in Clear Lake Iowa after thev show. He and Freddie are like Martin and Lewis.

Philly's very own!!!! He recorded on the same label as Chubby Checker, Dee Dee Sharp, Bobby Rydell etc.....BUT I never knew he could play like THAT! Great stuff.

I was there; Hersheypark,in Hershey,PA. The joint was packed! My dauughter and her family just barely managed to squeeze in. Charlie is an amazing entertainer, and as commented down below, one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet! His whole family are just super people.
