Funny thing about this man.......... I was sitting at a Melbourne coffee shop one day and overheard these two guys whispering out loud, ""SHHHH!!!! That's Jason Moran's mother coming out of the Post Office." I was about to approach this woman to tell her that I dug her son's piano playing. The two guys said, "Don't do that, Mate!" Turns out the Jason Moran they were talking about was a notorious Australian gangster, NOT the Jazz pianist! His mother was and is, the classic gangster Moll. Ha!
I've had some of the most powerful musical experiences of my life listening to the bandwagon live in concert. I'm so glad they're around to bless us with their music. Jason, Taurus & Nasheet forever!
