You have to listen into it like 30+ seconds before you hear the part that lets you know it's tal tal and not the opening.

After 4 years, people are disappointingly still complaining about this not being Tal Tal Heights. This IS Tal Tal Heights (which is the exact same as the overworld) mixed with Tal Tal Mountain Range.

Tal Tal Mountain Range is the theme you all are complaining about. Nintendo is right.

@FasikaR IDC how "right" Nintendo is, if they were going to associate this track w/ "Tal Tal Heights" and not simply "Koholint Island/Overworld" then it should have included more of the part of the theme that's associated w/ "Tal Tal" Heights. Especially when that was one of my favorite tracks in LA and all we got was that tiny little segment in the theme.

Its not your fault, your parents should just have made you earlier xD A Link To The Past was my first, then I got Majora's Mask, then a Wind Waker special edition with Ocarina of Time in it, then I was off to Minish Cap. Then Phantom Hourglass, so Twilight Princess then Spirit Tracks, now im waiting for Skyward Sword, but Wind Waker is by far my favorite :)

Fun stuff like that.

They(The goombas and plants.) appear in the side scrolling potions. While Wart teaches you a song under an assumed name.

Nintendo has mislabeled this song. This is merely the overworld theme with a bad techno background. They stick in one small excerpt from Tal Tal Heights and then give it that title.
