Clean run, I would suggest to move yourself closer to the steering wheel; it'll help get more leverage quicken turn-in. A good guide is to sit in your seat and extend your arm to the top of the steering wheel; the your wrist should sit right at top of the rim (at least).
Forgot: One more thing though...pedal to the metal until you cross the line, I think you lifted right before, probably cost him a couple more .xx secs :D.

The only good scion is the tC, and even then the thing is a heavy piece of crap. 2.4 and only 160 HP? it's basically driving a 2 door Element/CRV.
