I have this album and this was my fave tune on it.....beautiful! Didn't realise there were so many classic soul lovers out there. Glad I am not alone! thanks for upload.
Love the percussive break from 3.41 followed by the chorus hook 'Think whatcha did',& some phenomenal strings at 3.58 which take it to a whole other level; only to frustratingly fade out just as your music taste buds are left aching for more.Props to Jerry Peters & the late great Skip Scarborough for the sterling production on this underreated sophisticated funk gem.Read somewhere there's a longer, unreleased version of this, inclusive of the whole instrumental part we hear criminally faded out.
OMG!!! I have been looking for this song for YEARS!! It is one of my favorites from back in the day. I just happened to put Rockie Robbins' name into Youtube to see what would happen, and I nearly fainted when I saw this song. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Rockie Robbins is one of the most underrated singers in the (old) industry. To me, he is on the same level of Peabo Bryson. I LOVE this song and can't stop listening to it!!
GREAT !!!

A great example of the marvelous R&B music that was plentiful during the late '70's and early 80's....A Super Mellow Groove!!!
