@SpringbakInc This man passed away? I did not no Mr. Fetterman, but he built a mean boat, perhaps the nicest I have ever seen, this is just a beautiful boat! RIP Mr. Fetterman.
This boat holds 80 gallons of fuel.....40 on each side. The small tank is for the reserve gas if it needs it for the injections. It has a chiller that chills the fuel to keep it at a certain temp. It has two Holly float bowls that keep the fuel in the reserve tank. We went 100 MPH in the boat but GPS clocks it at 124 MPH but it goes faster than that.
misswaverunner...the small tank is in fact a fuel tank. Notice the fuel bowls mounted on the side of the tank and the braided lines running up to the hat. Don't listen to RD...because... RD SUX
Thank you MadPumper, I see the lines going to where the gas goes into the motor. This can't be oil can it? Thank you for the answers, although you all are not quite sure of yourselves here. Can the motor builder answer this one for us all?
The man with the answers. So, I am correct, this is an extreemly small tank for this size of this motor? There has to be a bigger tank that the small one feeds off though, right? I just like the boat and motor, didn't mean to get a lot of posts related to the gas tank. Just awesome, I see these all the time ar the River. Have fun!

@MudPumper its a cool can u put ice in it and the fuel travels around the coils and cools the fuel, i run one on my cat also

misswaverunner, what your seeing is called a dry sump tank. It's for the engine oil, not a gas tank.
