I find getting the tube valve through difficult. So I got a steel valve cap drilled a hole in the end fitted a bicycle gear change cable through the hole using the bobbin on the end to secure it under the cap. Screwed the modified valve cap onto the tube fed the cable through the valve hole then when the tube was in the tyre pulled the cable and the valve came through. No more fiddleing around trying to get the valve through with your fingers in between the rim and the tyre. Works every time.
Consider using the new tire (or an old tire) placed underneath the old tire/wheel as a cushion when jumping on the old tire to break the bead. It minimizes or eliminates contact of the disc/sprocket with the floor/ground.

Not as easy as it looks. I ended up tearing the tire with the tire irons. That tire was on so tight. I think you need special equipment for that kind of stuff.
