Finally another westerner with my same view points. the western (especially US) media is mostly fear based and I guess that's why so many are ignorant of China. I know there is nothing to fear and am actually very happy for China. I was there last year and I was able to see the Chinese people for who they really are - an interesting mix of pride, resourcefulness and of course immense kindness. I think the Olympics will break down a lot of western bias and prejudice and that can only be good.

the changes the judges made were, in fact, ABnormal. at this point, you aren't being skeptical, you just refuse to accept the fact that there is a possibility that the chinese team. you didn't complain about us because we don't cheat, or cause others to believe we do.

i have come to this same conclusion. to me, it's obvious that the girls were not much older than twelve years old. maybe there's no hard evidence, but find another team of 16-year-old gymnasts that all look like there nine, withdraw my claim. that's MY skepticism.

Finally another westerner with my same view points. the western (especially US) media is mostly fear based and I guess that's why so many are ignorant of China. I know there is nothing to fear and am actually very happy for China. I was there last year and I was able to see the Chinese people for who they really are - an interesting mix of pride, resourcefulness and of course immense kindness. I think the Olympics will break down a lot of western bias and prejudice and that can only be good.

You are right, China's government was only officially established about 50 years ago so it's still very young. China is changing fast and we should give them a chance in order for them to fix their mistakes.

OMG! That's so true! Many people are very biased about China during this time of economy boost. I don't see why these idiots have to boycott China for eveything and not America, who has done worst things in the past. *Sighs* It's a real shame. -_-'

..)..there is a trend of "the newly-rich will continue to get richer, but the people has never been rich will probably lose the chance to get rich at all"..so now Chinese government is working on some policy to prevent this from happening!

two points:
1)the average personal income is really growing quickly(and not rapidly)..i used to live with my parents in a 18 square meter room and shared washroom with 2 other families. but now i live with my mother in a 100 saqure meter room (my parents have divorced)..I am chinese citizen living in Shanghai
