I have the exact same problem, Extrem Flat feet. Some kids can get it fixed overtime by using orthotics. In my case, I've had orthotics for the last 23 years ( i'm 30 ), and i'm still at the same spot.
I have forced myself to walk like if my feet were somewhat normal, to actually force yourself to make the arch, walking on the outside part of your feet.
It doesn't solved anything, but sure helps for pain.
I will be undergoing 2 surgeries to fix my feet shortly. 10 months cast for each side.
@Eaglets1 i feel for you shit .... im 23 yo i had survgery when i was younger but i injured my self through my teen years .abd fucked up my feet. abt a year and a half ago i had surgery for the foot i injured and to fix this problem at the same time, they inserted two screws ...i had to wear a cast for abt 6 months all up a hard one most of the time and a soft one for the last month or two ... ilol funny thing know is i have one kinda normal and one still flat lol
@Eaglets1 but i sitll got a balance issue . but its alright if i get surgery for the other foot i reckon , but u should be alright with the balance issue if your gettin both done but itll play out i guess after you get only your first foot done , but after your seconds you should be able to get your balance right.
@Eaglets1I only started to wear orthotics about 10yr. ago, shouldve gotten them sooner. I've had 3 Dr.s tell me that I would benefit from an operation but I didnt discuss anything about recovery time. I havent talked to the orthopedic surgen about it yet. Your kidding about the 10 months right?
