Excellent theme! I did played it and still have in home the complete charts for Alt, Tenor, Baritono Sax; Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Bass, Piano and Drum, and is one of the best themes that I played with my sax in bands. Is the round funky music. (sorry my bad english)

growing up in houston texas back in the 70's my brother and i were the only to black kids who wanted to be starky and hutch in the house. damn we were kids we never thought about the color of anyone's skin until my older sister said ''their white and ya'll black. that was a famous line that we still talk about today as adults. man i loved that show. what happened to great t.v. like this? man i miss the 70's.much love to all you 70's kids.those were the greatest times ever being a kid.

The tv show was way better than the movie. The movie was too much of a paraody. Atleast the video game tried to replicate tv show. They even had Antonio doing Huggy's voice in the game.

Sad to say the movie was greatly anticipated and failed badly. I have my copy of the movie, watched it once and only once!!

Watch it again. Instead of trying to remake the series they made it into a satire movie. I hated it in the theater, saw it a second time on HBO, and then the third time I laughed my a@# off.  No movie could do this show justice without the original cast.
