I'm sorry, she's very talented, but this is a terrible way to build confidence. Yes, she will be confident, but she'll be used to fighting somebody that won't fight back. She probably believes that her power is hurting this boy so much that he isn't capable of fighting back which isn't true. All he does is run away, block, let her punch him, and throw weak jabs. Make the boy work a bit more and show this little girl some pressure!

Such a great talent cannot be wasted. The next Anne Wolfe!

@taifer123 its true shes fiting very well, but despite that a 14 year old boy of his size would not lose to a 9 year old girl... its just not possible the boy has much more force, speed, stamina, etc. she is only 9. theres no way the boy would really lose, its just not possible unless he let her win.

True, but this is just sparring; he's obviously not fighting full force. However, the girl shows lots of skill and strength for a 9 years old. She has to spar with older boys because it must be hard to find her a good sparring partner her own age.

@monster33333 I don`t think they`re trying to build her confidence. Confidence should come from security in your own skills, not by a trainer buttering you up and making you to think you`re badass. I doubt they had another 9 year old girl, especially on her level, for her to spar. I`m a female Muay Thai boxer and they make me spar males because whether I knock them or get knocked out, I progress from it. It`s not about making me feel better because I`m a little girl.
