If there was water enough to cover the earth completely (using the peak of Mt Everest as a reference, let's stick to the Bible interpretation) thats over 8km or 5 miles depth of water in EVERY direction on earths surface. I question the validity of everything I've read about the bible. Hundreds of years of translations and these works were bound to me misinterpreted form its orignal meaning. I've studied it and there are some many confusing and puzzling allegories that it's hard to find any meaning at all. I'm going to stick to my own interpretation and say that what Moses and the other early bible fugures actually experienced were alien encounters who were mistaken as "Gods". This makes the most sense to me.

The early church fathers put the documents together and then a church counsel put the books together. @truthfulreply These reading just show how early it was that some church "fathers" had gone from knowing and following what Jesus wanted. Other churches - body of believers- were active and did not follow the edit of Milan. the RCC is western in thought and control. the eastern and Chinese church, Indian and African churches lived on. Roman based churches were not the only churches. Many other Churches in northern Europe lived on and followed Biblical teaching and not Rome.

Read Ignatius of Antioch-he was a very Early Church Father who used the term "Catholic" in 110 AD. All the Ecumenical Councils were meetings of All the heads -Bishops of the church all over Europe,Africa,& Middle East.They were all ONE church.
@truthfulreply The early church was spread over many countries and many cities. Rome was one of many but Rome was the most important city from a political and power stand point. The early church was one body of believers. Not Pope existed yet and the church was following what the apostles taught. Once the Roman Bishop with the roman empire made Christianity the "religion" of the Roman empire, false teaching came in and one of those was the pope and RCC as the only church.
@truthfulreply the Roman church left the Catholic of the east when the RCC decided that the Pope is the only head of the church which is never taught but Jesus or any of the Apostles even Peter never taught this. Peter never over rules any of Jesus' teaching since Peter knew that Jesus was the cornerstone of all Christian teachings and churches. The RCC persistent teaching of "one true church" and Papacy has caused all these splits with other churches. Sad but true.

Even Augustine did not believe that Peter was the rock but Peter confession of Jesus was the "rock" of the church. Peter and Paul both confirm this. @truthfulreply The true void in you faith is that your gospel has been added onto by the RCC. The assumption of Mary, Papal infallibility, and many other teaching don't follow early church teachings and have perverted the Gospel by adding onto what Jesus, Paul and Peter taught. Show me one teaching as Peter was Head of the Church in Rome in the first 300 years?? They don't exist. If they did I would be most happy to follow them. Show me any place in NT that infant/babies were baptized? Children and adults were baptized but no babied. Babies can't believe. So that is false teaching of RCC.
@truthfulreply Peter was the first to say that Jesus is messiah and when a person says that Jesus is Messiah and Lord, and are baptized, they are a member of the true church of God, Roman 10:9. I have read enough early church letter to know that the early church fathers never taught that Peter was infallible or Mary assumed into heaven or that Rome was the "only" church. What about the church in Jerusalem? They had all the Apostles teachings? So think a bit hear.

But what many object to is that Peter message has been added onto the RCC. The RCC has 90% of the truth and it needs to go back to what Peter taught in ACTs 2. RCC needs to stop teaching non essential teaching as dogma when the teaching is not true or suspect. That is all that I am saying.

I question the validity of everything I've read about the bible. Hundreds of years of translations and these works were bound to me misinterpreted form its orignal meaning. I've studied it and there are some many confusing and puzzling allegories that it's hard to find any meaning at all. I'm going to stick to my own interpretation and say that what Moses and the other early bible fugures actually experienced were alien encounters who were mistaken as "Gods". This makes the most sense to me.

Other churches - body of believers- were active and did not follow the edit of Milan. the RCC is western in thought and control. the eastern and Chinese church, Indian and African churches lived on. The early church was one body of believers. Not Pope existed yet and the church was following what the apostles taught. @truthfulreply Dear Truthful We don't attach YOU we are calling you to look at the full picture of what was said and done after Jesus died. Peter does have the full saving message of faith. But what many object to is that Peter message has been added onto the RCC. The RCC has 90% of the truth and it needs to go back to what Peter taught in ACTs 2. RCC needs to stop teaching non essential teaching as dogma when the teaching is not true or suspect. That is all that I am saying.

@truthfulreply con't why teach Mary as ever virgin when there is no conclusive proof or proof that she did have children. So is Joseph ever virgin also? Pope as infallible when a church counsel changes the teaching of a prior pope and defines the prior pope's teaching as misguided? 3 popes at one time and which one is infallible? These kind of FACTS cause one to mistrust the RCC. The additional RCC teaching go beyond what Peter and Paul taught and make a "new Gospel".
