@Aquakia This film was recorded in black & white and afterwords colored by hand. Frame by frame!!!
Must have been an incredibly annoying work, but that's how they achieved this effect.

Silent films were not meant to be shown at this speed - this is imposing our current frames-per-minute onto antique film.
