Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and wears the diadem crown. However, just to be clear, in Scripture, in Revelations, chapter 13, the beast also wears the diadem crown. So it is incorrect to say ONLY Jesus wears the diadem crown. God bless you all
An example from scripture of the role of the queen mother, is found in the bible in 2nd Kings, Chapter 2, verse 19. "Then Bethsabee came to king Solomon, to speak to him for Adonias: and the king arose to meet her, and BOWED to her, and sat down upon his throne: and a throne was set for the king's mother, and she sat on his right hand. The blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of the King, Jesus. Her will is that all should follow her son Jesus as in the wedding of Cana.
And a GREAT SIGN appeared in Heaven, a woman, crowned with a crown of 12 stars and clothed with the sun with the moon under her feet. That is absolutely the best description of a queen in heaven ever, described by a man inspired by the Holy Spirit. Where in the Christian bible does it state, the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the King Jesus Christ, is NOT the Queen of Heaven? She is wearing the Stephanos crown, a crown of victory, while visibly shown in heaven. Quite the image of a Queen
Forget about the old Testament. That's only about 90% of the bible. Sorry, but bible Christians use the whole bible, my friend. It is not apples/oranges, it is the word of God. You don't throw out 90% of the sacred Scriptures to try to win an argument. The old testament sets the foundation for the new testament, and the new testament is the realization of the old. The woman wears a crown, that is the most obvious sign of royalty a woman can have.
@Cherubaby The Queen of the Davidic Kingdom was the king's mother. Jesus is the king of kings... who is His mother? Who is the woman in Revelation 12:1? In the OT, the queen interceded before the king and sat at his right hand. In the wedding of Cana, Mary intercedes for the servants and tells them "Do whatever He tells you"... that sounds like a message both for us and the servants. Anyway, there are many more parallels, I could write an essay. But I won't. God bless
@jasmineandrose123 OK forget about the Old Testament because you are comparing apples with oranges if you get into that area. Where does it say in Revelation 12:1 that the Woman is a Queen? It doesn't say that. Yes the Woman wears a Crown but if you read it correctly, it is a STEPHANOS Crown - a Crown of Victory (over Sin) - that is given to ALL Christians. Jesus ALONE wears the DIADEMA Crown - the Crown of Regal Authority and Rulership.
