Well, the cameramans job was to film. To film a journey of a wheelchair user and the obstacles that they encounter on a certain day.By chance, that day, there were many hazards but there could well have been none.The idea was to film her as though she were alone; a camerman helping her defeats the purpose.The flowers outside the shop werent the only obstacles encountered-I can assure you no singling out of the shop was intended.Please PM me if you would like to arrange meeting to talk this over
well what was stopping the person with the camera to come over and pick up the plants or ask the friendly shop keepers to move it but i strongly think power's was singled out and put on camera more than any other shop so you could of took time to go to another shop but i really don't think there was any need load's of people walk past that shop per day with a pram and once not complained
As regards deleting comments - I havent done that. I am only back in the office from the holidays and see 2 comments need approving. Your comments are refreshing and much appreciated to be honest. And hope you like our videos.
that is all put on stop deleting the comments this is just another one of those video's where everything is put on people every day push prams past powers so i dont know y somebody went and took time out to make this video if tara asked them to move it (the flowers) they would have. tara regularly shops in power and is always laughing if you put a video up on you-tube you want people to see it so why do you keep deleting the comments people leave ! ! !
Hi guys, please be assured the video was not in any way meant to single out any one person or shop. It was merely an exercise in showing the Council what it is like from a disabled point of view.On the day in question - nothing was PLANTed. (the word PLANTed in subtitles was tongue-in-cheek)That plant was put there I presume by a member of the public or it fell down.Same with the car coming onto footpath in front of Miriam and the swan delaying traffic-I couldnt orchestrate that kind of footage
I just have to say that Tara is an everyday customer in Liam De Paors shop (where she meets her first obstacle 'the flowers') where she goes for a chat and a laugh everyday. The staff are so friendly and Tara never leaves the shop not laughing, Tara has never complained once to the staff about the ease of access past the shop and I'm sure if the matter was raised with the staff they would do all they could to help.
