@rtljmc The disconnector, the piece on the back. Simply filing that off doesn't make the gun full auto, as the hammer would ride home with the carrier. A full auto FCG has a safety/auto sear that holds the hammer until the carrier goes into battery. The carrier trips that sear which is what fires the hammer. The Full Auto FCG has more components than the one I'm installing in this video and requires exact receiver modifications to install properly. Don't even think about it, it's a felony.
what kind of ak is that?

I never knew about the 'mouse trap' before. That makes it much easier, haha.

Hope you didn't have to find out the hard way about the mouse trap!! Ouch!
Hey do you have any videos about heat treating the receiver?
Thanks!

why not put a twist tie on the top so it doesn't snap your hand and pop off hammer?

why did you say remove the tapco disconnector spring and put the one in the kit in? are they better or something?
akshooter762 1 year ago
@akshooter762 The Tapco FCG's don't come with a spring.

Excellent build videos! I'm doing a Romy G build next weekend. I sure do miss the $100 kits.

What build kit do you suggest to start with for the least expensive build?

Great video, thanks. How do I know if I need single or double trigger assembly?
Thanks
xgi36 2 years ago
Your receiver will either have 1 or two cutouts in front of the trigger hole. That will dictate which FCG you use.

Thanks for the advice

O.o that triger system are weird.. maany parts missing
Xunstar 2 years ago
The only parts missing are the ones that make it full auto. I can't legally install them (nor is the receiver machined to accept them)
