Well, I just downloaded and tried this game, liked it but I'm probably gonna stop. Matches take too long to set up and I'm tired of getting reported for "feeding". You also need to group up with your team more. Solo pushing is fine, but you should try not to go solo all the time. And since you took teleport, you should be paying attention to your lanes, to see if there are people trying to backdoor it. That's when you use your teleport to intercept them and stop the push.

You really are bad. I don't wanna sound mean, though, so please don't take it that way.

You need to work on your map awareness, you seem to be missing a lot of lane pushes because you don't pay attention to your minimap. You should make a habit of checking your minimap every 2-5 seconds, just a quick glance will do, at least later on. You shouldn't go more than 10 seconds without checking your minimap, because that leaves you unaware of the enemy and friendly movements.

By the way, thornmail on amumu against an AD team is incredibly helpful, and if you get a void staff, the returned magic damage basically doubles against most champs

Azurite, instead of using screen-lock try holding down spacebar with your left thumb. Rest your index, middle finger, ring finger and pinky finger on the REWQ keys. That'll help you a lot. Also, this game requires a lot of early game skill to be good at later on. Try to avoid recalling as long as possible, I usually aim for a benchmark at level 6 unless I have really low health or unless I'm raping.

Another thing, try to mostly last-hit minions early on. Sorry about the dick team you had.

Azurite, you should check the enemy team, their best champion (aka most fed) is a physical DPSer, buy thornmail, otherwise go for force of nature. As amumu you should initiate the fight, so bandage toss yourself in then ultimate the fuck out of everyone. BTW, it's np if you suck right now, you'll get better =D

Amumu is best for tanking and not AP, but tanking is very situational. Go Thornmail if you see people getting raped by a physical damage champion. If a mage is raping your team go for a Force of Nature. Guardian Angel is a must for Amumu. Also being aggressiv and initiating a fight is your job and to sustain your stuns since you got two of them xD

Like any game like this there is a MAJOR gap between players. DotA, HoN, LoL, DotA2 all have expert players who refuse to help teammates and keep to themselves and on the other side are the complete noobs and other people struggling to get better but don't know the optimal strategy.

Playing without screenlock means you only have to aim your mouse relative to the opponents movement rather than theirs and your own. This is extremely helpful if you've got a good feel for their movement speed, especially for and against champs with skillshots. It also prevent minions from ruining your aim while you're moving. Aside from that, it lets you focus on points of interest, so you can click that Sona as soon as she comes out of the brush to counterharass her.

@OneTrueNoob i dunno, here's my counter points to those:

1) I've never had any problem aiming skillshots because of the screen lock, I've tried aiming them without screenlock and it's been exponentially harder for me to do it that way.

2) Most stuff from the champions I use doesn't have that large of an AoE or can't be cast out that far, so I couldn't really harass anyone unless they were in my view on locked screen anyways :P

Also when the icon of a jungle monster says it’s still there, that may not be the case because the enemy may have gotten it and the map will not show you that, otherwise it would reveal their general location.(if that makes any sense)

5. You have to stick together and fight with your team more often. Especially with Amumu, you are the tank/initiator of combat. You initiate when it is a full team fight, so when the enemy is all grouped together. Use bandage toss to get in close, then your ultimate to stun, and that will have your team sending them to hell.

3. Early game, focus on killing minions and last hitting them to gain the gold. Buy some HP potions so that you don’t have to recall so much. Your recalling (based on this game) was pretty frequent and thus preventing you from gaining the needed exp and gold.

4. MIA means when and enemy champ is missing from their lane, usually to come and try to gank(ambush) another lane. Also don’t roam around in the jungle too much, especially in theirs where you can get caught very easily

Here is some advice to help you get better. I think i speak for most people that we want to see more LoL and want to see many improvements.

1. Don't get smite if you are not jungling. If you don't completely understand what jungling is, it is when a champion kills the monsters in the jungle in order to let the single champion on a lane(usually top) solo it to gain more experience.

2. If you're not jungling, get a summoner spell that will assist you in escaping such as ghost or flash.

Azurite, Screen-lock makes you see less of the screen since your character is always in the middle. You should turn that off.

@azuritereaction The reason you need to keep the camera unlocked is because in team fights, its easier to just scroll forward with your mouse and see where everyone is. if the camera is locked the you only see a small portion of the screen at one time. LegendarySpartan is right, its hard to explain. right now your biggest issue imo is recalling too much and just rushing into 4 ppl who are 4 levels higher than you :P

@LegendarySpartin I still have yet to have someone explain to me how screen lock sucks compared to free screen movement.

Screen Lock = stays on your character, if you need to check other lanes, you click/grab and move the window to those lanes, let go, it snaps right back to you.

No Screen Lock = touch the sides of the window with your mouse and the screen goes flying, can't move as fast across the map as dragging window on minimap, not as precise movement either, etc.

azuritereaction: Thornmail is alright on Amumu, I would rather go for Randuin's Armor because you can go for an early Heart of Gold for extra gold per 5 and the aura from randuin's helps your whole team, while Thornmail only benefits yourself.

@azuritereaction hey apart from that ryze who was like an unfortunate amount of the community, some of the other guys were occasionally giving out good advice, like stay in a group, especially late game and especially as amumu running of alone is just asking to die. Don't take blue buffs as amumu, your usually not the first priority to get them in most teams, if you really feel like you need it ask the mage first, as they need it more. It is a team game after all. Good luck!

Less lvl10 vs lvl 15 scenarios.

With your current playstyle it is better to get a mana item instead of a regeneration item because of the amount of recalls.
