remember him at Caister and on the pirates then towards the end of the 1980s when his sound system used to be hired out to the big Acid House parties (although I don't remember him playing at them) Colin Hudd used to though! whatever happened to him?
Froggy was my first source of quality music ~ Ilford Town Hall under 18's monday nights in the days before i could convunce the Lacy Lady Bouncer to let in a 16yr old (cause i looked 10). Also, member of his short lived Cauliflower Soul Club whilst it lasted, it was like a house party with top tunes upstairs at the local .
I remember invicta coming on around 12:30 because they knew most clubbers still in bed after hard night .. hell be missed I ll have to have a look for froggy brothers Johnston mix and upload it
Excellent to hear this, oh how I wish I had kept all my old tapes of Invicta & JFM shows. What great memories of the funky early 80's and the Brit Funk scene.

Loved Froggy, but his inspiration lives on in his son "Tadpole" who I have had the pleasure of meeting. xx
