What a song!! This was such a classic.  I was a little kid but remember it so clearly. The times were innocent and the music appealed to our better senses and selves. I'm sure everyone growing up in these times were heavily influenced by not only the great tunes but the phenomenal musical lyric messages we all applied going forward in our lives shaping how we lived and treated others.

@salemst I'm 20 but my late father grew up in the 50's/60's and I listen to a lot of the old stuff. I hate today's music. Real songs were made back in the 50's and 60's. All my friends make fun of me for "living in the past" but in my opinion this is when the best music was made.

I loved Little Anthony when I was in high school, and then I heard him sing at a company function at the Disneyland Hotel in about 1983. There were no chair in the auditorium, we just stood, and I was right at the stage. He sang the songs exactly as I remembered them, and he had his little boy with him. Very memorable.
