thats the problem with protesters..they bill themselves as the voice of chicago when they are not what most of chicagoans feel. when the IOC took its on poll on public support of all the cities.. chicago was up at 76 percent, higher than tokyo and equal to rio. Chicago had no choice but to sign the contract, its mandatory for all games.. but facts are that with a 2.5 billion guarentee for overruns and not many venues to buildas the previous games...its unlikely, No american city has lost money.
