Great playing, awesome tone too. BTW what is the technique you're doing at around 00:40? I've never noticed it until recently that it's used often, is it a slide?
@lainiac2012 What that is an old EVH trick. You pull off on the G string the 4th fret,the 2nd fret and the open string. While you do that,with your picking hand,you take the side of your index or whatever you want to hover on the strings over the pickups.
