Thanks LoveBeach for reminding my why I left this BS of a fantasy religion. Most of the replies here make me all the more glad I left... what a fairy tale these pour souls live in. It`s the first i have been on a convention where they played a melody at the end of a drama. So you`re right, it was a very different ending.
But that song is personal, near and directly. Jehovah loves us, and that song tries to give us a strong faith of that, because he does. Jehovah loves all of his people! We are Jehovah`s beloved sons and dauhgters.

It's easy to destroy and kill, we could do that ourselves... as would a lesser god. A more powerful God would heal us, as a physician would. Tell me about the sword in Matt. 10. Literal or figurative? If literal, who uses it? The Christians or those opposed to Christianity? If the sword is figuative, does that mean the "division" is figurative? Did Jesus mean he wanted us to cut off all contact with others if they don't agree with how we interpret his word or did he mean others would hate us?
What about "You must love your enemies?" Does that mean you should love those who have left the congregation too? What about "For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son...?" What about the fruitage of the spirit: "Love is long suffering and kind, does not keep account of injury..." does that apply to those who have left the organization? Was Jesus' blood so cheap that it will only save a few million instead of a few billion?
If these things are "revealed" as in 1 Cor. 2, then does that mean you believe the Organization has revelations? What's the difference between revelation, inspiration, and direction from God's Spirit? Which one does the Organization use?
Last but not least, I DO NOT HATE YOU. Do you hate me? I hope not.
(Mat 13:34,35) All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds by illustrations. Indeed, without an illustration he would not speak to them; that there might be fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet who said: I will open my mouth with illustrations, I will publish things hidden since the founding.

That's a fair question. Respectfully, I would ask you in return why you go out in service. I think the reason so many voice their negative opinions about the Witnesses is because they have seen personally, or know of people whose lives have been destroyed, whose families have been torn apart. Witnesses do not know the meaning of unconditional love. It doesn't matter if you're a husband, a daughter, a mother, or a grandparent, if you change your mind about what you believe, you are good as dead.

This song tells us, Jehovah loves everyone of his people! And he wants everyone to be one of his people - and he wants everyone who has left him to come back. This melody is beautiful, the text, the music makes alot of us to cry. I feel that i`m loved, because i am loved! So do you.

Thanks LoveBeach for reminding my why I left this BS of a fantasy religion. Most of the replies here make me all the more glad I left... what a fairy tale these pour souls live in. Ah well, I don't blame them, I once believed it all too until I started thinking about how the Holocaust is only a foretaste of what these people believe.
I can't accept a God who would save a few people and kill all the rest, just because they don't buy the magazines when the Witnesses call. Silly AND sad.

It`s the first i have been on a convention where they played a melody at the end of a drama. So you`re right, it was a very different ending.
But that song is personal, near and directly. Jehovah loves us, and that song tries to give us a strong faith of that, because he does. Jehovah loves all of his people! We are Jehovah`s beloved sons and dauhgters.

It's easy to destroy and kill, we could do that ourselves... as would a lesser god. A more powerful God would heal us, as a physician would. Tell me about the sword in Matt. 10. Literal or figurative? If literal, who uses it? The Christians or those opposed to Christianity? If the sword is figuative, does that mean the "division" is figurative? That's a fair question. Respectfully, I would ask you in return why you go out in service. I think the reason so many voice their negative opinions about the Witnesses is because they have seen personally, or know of people whose lives have been destroyed, whose families have been torn apart. Witnesses do not know the meaning of unconditional love. It doesn't matter if you're a husband, a daughter, a mother, or a grandparent, if you change your mind about what you believe, you are good as dead.

I don't have good eyesight to see the girls making out unfortunately.
Haven't been to a convention in a while. I remember bringing binoculars, and they weren't to see the speaker! I had to spot who I'd be talking to during lunch!

This song fits to the drama, and it`s also to day usual that someone are leaving Jehovah.
This song tells us, Jehovah loves everyone of his people! And he wants everyone to be one of his people - and he wants everyone who has left him to come back. This melody is beautiful, the text, the music makes alot of us to cry. I feel that i`m loved, because i am loved! So do you.
