  • The young dancers were from Damai Primary School, primary 2 to 6. It was performed in April 2010 as part of Singapore Youth Festival Chinese Dance competition. The group received a Gold Award for their performance.

    I kill you !!!

    Mongolia is not China!!

Throat singing, bowl dance etc are all declared to be originated from Mongolia!!

    UNESCO accepted it !!! >.<

Stop saying Mongolia is a part of china !!!

  • @sSector5

Nobody is saying that Mongolia is part of China. The dance was performed as part of a Youth Festival Chinese Dance competition. Mongolian Dances are allowed in the competition primarily because they are often performed in China, just as Korean dances are often performed. BTW there is a province in China called Inner Mongolia and under the Yuan Dynasty the Mongolians controlled China. That hardly builds a case that Mongolian culture is totally detached from Chinese culture.
