  • I'm doing the 6 weeks of phase 1 and i'm following the Slow-carb diet that Tim Ferriss outlines in the 4-hour body. In 4 weeks I'm down to 210 from 218, but i've also gone from tight 36 inch. pants to a loser 34. So far, I like p90x 2 better than the original because it's easier to move off days when you have something to do.

  • @centorio Totally agree with all of that. The X2 plan really does ease you into the workouts and focuses on building a solid base that you can then take into Phase II. Very smart by the Beachbody boys. 

  • Are you following the p90x2 nutrition plan at all or just doing straight up paleo?

  • @movingtoday27 I'm more of a Paleo person. The Grain Free option is close, but I don't do dairy. I've been doing this for about 2 years now and it's allowed me to stay between 160 and 165, which is right where I want to be, so I only make small adjustments in carb intake when I'm working at higher intensity (see: Plyocide).

  • I want to stay in 160 range but get rid of body fat percentage, that's possible, right?

  • @bassivity Absolutely. You just have to swap fat for muscle. The best way to do that is to eat clean and exercise.

  • I have P90X and P90X2 but was going to go and do P90X first and go into P90X2, should I go do P90X2 instead? I just want to be toned and am 43 yrs old. Whats your view? Thanks...

  • @allnutts Difficult question. If you have X2, I would recommend that you try and start there, but modify whatever you need to modify in Phase I. Without a stability ball it is fairly easy. With the stability ball there is some really tricky stuff if you don't have a lot of core strength. What I like about it is that it builds that up. Are you working with a Coach yet?
