It's the big media corporations that scare me the most. Advertising is how they raise their revenue, and the biggest problem is conflict of interest.

As long as it is not in the media groups interest to keep us informed about any particular issue, we just won't hear about it.

The fact that YouTube is now owned by google, (while this was great for Chad and steve) means that as soon as one of googles "partners" is unhappy with any of the content that has been uploaded by

individual users - they have the prerogative to remove the content, thus removing our freedom of speech :(
