@zoso11 Once, I had a race paused, and my Dad unpaused it, turned my car round and paused it again without me realising. First I knew was when a Benneton came into view, heading for me! :-)

For such an old game, it was way ahead of it's time. The replay value was epic, even years later. I used to roleplay it by having practice on a friday, timed laps on the saturday and the full race on the sunday. If I crashed then I was out of the race. Fun times (believe it or not!). I must admit, I was pretty good at it, but I played it for years though. "Michele Alboreto is out of the race" Ah, good times :)

i played in 1996 with a pentium 1, 75 mhz, with 32 mo ram and a 2 mo graphic card ! loll nice remember !

Good drive, this and grand prix manager are by far the best F1 games I've played, for their time they had epic detail and the fact you can tinker with GP2 to your heart's means the only thing stopping it lving forever are graphics... Nice to see you imported in the real Marlboro ads, good man!

I used to have only a keybord, which made it difficult to switch gears urself. I suppose you use a joystick here?

Heh, thanks! Since I'm not using throttle help (F7), I have to set the 1st gear rather high to avoid excessive spinning, so the engine sounds a bit low out of the corners - I'm also using a keyboard, but gears are automatic.

That sure looks fun when you drive without driving aids... I cant get aids off in the game.

I have used the Carset Editor to modify the game so that I can play at Ace level and still have some driver aids available. The driving line aid for example, since it had been years since I had last played GP2 when the clips were recorded.

@Kemonomitsos How do you upload the videos, and how do you manage to brake using the keyboard? That's the one thing I can't do. I can break lap records using manual gears with no traction control, but I can't brake!
