  • Do you make all these, Or can you buy them? I wanting to look into one.

  • i was gonna watch this video then i heard the song

  • what type of tire are you usen

  • whats a servo motor vs a regualr motor?

  • A geared motor so it goes very slow but enough torque to climb anything

  • That xmod is beast it looks like my daily driver.

  • thats so bitchen

  • can someone please tell me where to those tires?

  • sick as fuck

  • where did you get the tires and wheels???

  • you have a nice body on that truck keep up the muddin

  • who makes this model whats the idem #

  • i have a queston ...

i put my lift kit on and when i try to go the front wheels turn outward...

all the steering is on right...

and i cant find the problem reply to me cz i need help

  • you need stiffer springs for the front - the stock springs will cause your front wheels to slop outwards with the lift kit

  • it looks real

  • what servo ya use?

  • oh that's ok no worries.

  • i love your vids i have a question on this one could you please tell me the song name and the name of the group that sings it????Thanks.

  • i forgot since it's been along time ago- sorry dude

  • It's in the description.

  • @Xmodification the song name is bodies by drowning pool

  • @chevyman454v8 its bodies by drowning pool.

  • nice truck and where do ugo for the off road/crawler stuff?

  • Try Ebay.

  • where do u go for the lift kits/ties and ect?

  • if you would sell any let me know my best offer for any is 200$

  • The only one I have at the moment is the GMC crewcab and the f-150 ssmt/xmod hybrid. If I decide to sell them i'll keep ya posted.

  • The custom paint was a good idea because a mud crawler can't stay clean for even a few minutes.

  • ok i no i bother u way too much and everything but when u drive ur xmod throug mud/water how do u clean it and does it still run like new or break after awhile

  • Did I tell you that I really like your mods? :D

  • where do you get all your wheels and tires from?? and my 4-wheel drive isn't working, any tips?

  • amazing, i know someone that just made a custom xmod chassis yesterday, but that blows my mind what you can do!

  • thanks!

  • how much

  • I sold this one along time ago.

  • damn i love that truck

  • i love the new look, ur awesome, if u ever sell any of ur cars, i will buy some, ima dying for the xmod crew cab gmc!

  • this one had a servo motor mod in it - it was the first time I tried a servo for the motor and it work out pretty well.

  • where did you get that pinion?

  • it was from a cheap toy that I broke apart just for spare pieces.

  • Great video and car

  • Thanks dude! This was my first crawler that I did with the servo mod.

  • Sweet truck but how u get waterproof Motor and parts

  • LOL - I never water proofed any of it - I just took a risk doing this vid in the mud - it was fun but I wouldn't do it again without a modified truck.

  • how much would you sell it for?

  • he already sold it

  • That's BADASS !!!

  • what type of truck chassis did u use for this truck and your other trucks

  • the chassis are Evolution Xmod truck chassis' from radio shack.

  • Hey X, where did you find that spur gear? Also, did you have any problems with the gears not meshing inside the servo?

  • I got the spur gear from another cheap toy and I never had problems with the servo gears before - maybe you installed them wrong (you have to put them back the same way they were before otherwise it won't work or it will gind/tear the spur gear's teeth away).

  • comment number #100, yeah! thats so cool, did you buy the gearbox in the rear from a hobby store or make it your self and any servo upgrades?

  • Thanks for the 100th comments! I actually made modified the xmods' motor mount with a 360* modified servo. The tutorial can be found in most of the xmods forums - it not that hard and you can find the servo + materials a most hobby store.

  • the batteries

  • can you make me one or can you make a vid showing how to make an xmod vid that be cool

you should do a dodge ram body or even a jeep

  • Making a video is easy - you just need to have a software on your PC to edit it or to atleast add music and words/graphics. once you finish editing it just upload to youtube and that's it. ;)

  • no a vid on how to make custom bodys

  • did u make that body

  • yeah - it's a 1/24 model conversion

  • wont that get broken?

  • there super easy to water-proof just use tape =)

  • could u make me one ?

  • I'm not making custom trucks for anyone at the moment - I've got quite a few stuff I have to finish for myself and the ones thta I will make later will probably be on Ebay for sale.

  • good 2 c u still around i got my titan working again woot lol u might remember me on the forms if not i got a titan with a hyper 180 in it ill make a snow vid or something soon lol

  • sounds cool budddy!

  • ya i found out how much faster the batts die in the cold and how hard snow is the get through i might lock my front diff but i dont want 2 if i do there gose my turning lol.

  • could u tell me when u decide to sell any.....

  • well I post most of them on Ebay and don't have any to seel at the moment but I'll try to let ya know when i do decide to sell any of them.

  • dont it mess them up in the mud

  • siro guy ... u mmight have like burned up yor motor or sonething

  • how did u get the GMC Sierra body to snap down and stay on your xmod chassi? I have a skyline xmod that i modified and tok a Chevy stepside model and used velcro to keep it from popping off.

  • I use a styrene (plastic) sheet to make custom mounts for it.

  • Is there anyway to space the tires out on my titan xmod to fit tires i got off a model?

  • I know some people make custom rims to fit the xmods and some glue the xmods rims to the model/toy rims so that it can have a wider wheel stance.

  • you check the batteries? does the steering work but it doesn't run? If so check the gears - maybe it's jammed or something- idk.

  • Where*

  • Xmodsinternational or on ebay.

  • What did u get the tires?

  • Where did u get that gmc body?

  • It's a model converstion.

  • you lose points for backing up....

  • in a crawling comp yeah, but this is just out having fun -lol.

  • what kind of batteries do u use

  • RS rechargable batteries.

  • i take mine in mudd but im to scard to go deper , i have the lift kit and the tires

  • yeah - i wouldn't recommend it really.

  • were did u get those tires

  • Those tires are Aoshima 1/24 super swampers - youc an get them from an Aoshima truck model kit or buy them separately (which is almost impossible to find also).

  • what all do u have done to that thing it is crazy , what do u have to do to get it to go in mud

  • It just has all the upgrades and a servo motor plus it's lifted a little higher due to the tires being larger than the reg RS offroad tires.

  • Huh? but whered you get the GEAR?

  • the spur gear was from a tamiya gearbox set.

  • OH and what did you use for the gear on it?

  • I used a Hitec HS-50 Servo for the motor.

  • ohhh okay. i found itt!. ill try this with my ugly truck.;D

  • Okay.(im from XF.=]) i looked on the site "hobby people" what section/servo is that under? msg back please :)

  • look under the Hitec servo section.

  • nice truck man

how did you lift up your xmod?

  • It has the Radio Shack lift kit installed and the tires also give it alittle bit more clearance since they are bigger aswell.

  • could you make one of a ford ranger like ur GMC?

  • I wish u could get stuff like that in the UK. You can get the trucks, but no winches, roof racks or spots etc. I'm going to try and make a Land Rover Xmod when funds permit... I'll get a 1/24 Land Rover and put the body on an Xmod Evo Hummer or summut.

  • there is a way to make a xmod water proof but unfotnitly i don't know how

  • I think you can use silicone around the EP compartment to seal it off - that's one of the way Iwould go about it.

  • ok,i was (thinking) abot doingig it!!!\

  • forum, does mudding tear yor xmod up?or any damage

  • it didn't do anything this my xmod but I wouldn't recommend it.

  • wats teh site or store i can get the lift kit n tires from

  • look on ebay.

  • im in "chritopher lightsaber"

  • ??? ok - so is that a forum or a vid or something? I'm not familiar with that - sorry :(

  • crownvic03 is my brother,im chritopher lightsaber,in grayshirt,camo shorts,with blonde hair!!

  • which forums are you on? I don't seem to recognize the screen name.

  • I'll be working on a 1/10 blazer rig soon so it should be an interesting 1st time project for me.

  • just awesome job on video &making the truck a crawler/mudder, you do awesome work!,

  • Thanks dude!

  • sweet muding video dude........ 2 thumbs up for that one

  • Thanks dude!

  • this is xmodracer1 from xms. i just subscribed, your vids are amazin

  • Thanks dude -nice to see ya here.

  • nice, good to see someone getting down and drity with their xmods. lol nice job :D

  • i have a titan and i was wondering how do u get different bodies on it

  • lol - I know I saw your username before on there. Thanks again!

  • Hey man.. very nice! I love this video, is like the real life.. awesome! I'm subscribe to you. 5/5

  • Thanks for the compliment and the subscription!

  • wer did u get the winch?

  • I made it by using a servo that I adopted to the chasis.

  • Very nice! It muds really well. Who sings this song ?

  • thanks! I think the song is from stomphonic - i'm not sure of it though.

  • Anyone know where i could get some bigger tires like these to fit my xmod?

  • Try XmodsInternational, com - just say i reffered you there.

  • Thank you, i had no idea there were so many after market parks

  • You're welcome!

  • Your truck got through the mud to easy.

  • Just go to your hobby store and pick up any 1/24 or 1/25 model truck - they're likely to fit the f-150 and titan chasis easily. Some body mods might be required but it should be too hard to get it to work.

  • how did you protect the mod

  • I just greased up the bearings and dogbones plus around the battery terminals so that water didn't get on it. That's all I did since the mud/water didn't reach the EP stuff.

  • Look for Revell or AMT models. Aoshima makes some very detailed ones but they're also expensive.

  • Hi can you tell me how to convert the stock motor for the servo motor coz when i get my xmod truck i'll probably be doing this to mines... thanks

  • can u put a pick up body on a hummer chassi

  • well yeah but it has to be like a short bed version of a pickup truck because the h2 chasis is shorter than the f-150's

  • Do you sell any of your xmod trucks?

  • I sold this one and I am currently making 4 for 1 customer at the moment. I'll be taking a break and then start selling them soon fully customized.

  • Well could you let me know when you start selling them again? Also Are you the one with the online store?

  • I'll let you know when I start sell thme soon. I don't have an online store, which one are you talking about?

  • ok thanks.

  • when you do start selling them could you contact me i would really like to have one like the blue blazer or the gmc in this video and i wont put them on websites even if i did all the credit would go to you because i dont see how you do all this in the first place it is insane keep up the good work

  • thanks and i'll be sure to let you know when I start making them to sell ok.

  • ok thanks

  • ok thanks sounds good i still cant believe the detail and realism that you are able to put into it i have a 79 dodge little red express truck i need to mount it on and do the details

  • who do you keep the motor and electronics from getting fried i would love to do that with mine but am afraid it will kill it it has been done before to my mustang

    please respond

  • The mud isn't as high as it seems, plus the tires give it an extra bit of height along with the lift kit.

  • how do u get that thing to perform like that plz mesg me

  • do the servo mod - it works great!

  • how did u drill the holes 4 the rims to fit on the axle stubs

  • I cut out the d-hub from an old set of xmod rims and glued it to the center of the model rims. it works the same way as the original rims.

  • hey just wondering where to get a servo motor for my truck? by the way nice video 5 stars!

  • Thanks! I got the servos at Hobbypeople store but i'm sure you can buy them at any rchobby store and online too.

  • I was gonna spend $200 on a wheely king and mod it to make a crawler, but forget that. I'm going to RS and picking up an H2 and mod it. Awesome job on the crawler.

  • Thanks, It's alot cheaper to make a custom X-truck and it's pretty cool also. You will have to make a few mods to make it an effecient crawler but once you're done you should have fun with it.

  • wow looks real!! great vid!

  • Thanks!

  • y0..Nice video, i have been getting into Xmods lately and i've been searching the forums and you are all over them..you have some awesome stuff!..It makes me wanna do everyone of your projects..On that truck is that radioshack suspension?..Where did you get the swamper tires with rims?..Also does that mud mess up anything on your turck? or is your truck just that high?

  • Thanks! I am a member of most of the popular forum and I do have alot of custom work on all of them. The truck has all the RS upgrades - it the swampers that makes it more higher. The rims are custom made from an aoshima truck kit. You can buy the tires from Ebay - just look up the 1/24 swampers and you find them with rims also. Oh and the mud wasn't too deep - it didn't mess up anything btw.

  • man can you tell me how you made this truck and where you got the body i have the 2006 gt mustang no performance what kind of parts should i put on it??

  • I got the body at HobbyPeople, Its custom mounted on a Evo truck chasis. As for performace in stuff for a evo car - try looking at Xmodsinternational, com or Atomicmods, com -they have alot of cool stuff and motors to make your car pretty fast ( stop by the forums too).

  • damn, i cant believe how real it looks. great job

  • hello, can you email me how you mounted the motor and where you bought it from?

  • I sent you an email on it.

  • I would like the same Email please! Thank you for posting your awesome modifications!

  • Thanks! Which email are you talking about? You can send a message to me on my Profile page and i'll get back to you a.s.a.p. if you want.

  • where did u get that truck?

  • It's an XMOD rc with a cusom made GMC body. Yu can get the Xmods at any RS and the body at your LHS (local hobby store).

  • thanks a lot dude

  • you're welcome!

  • i love your truck body had a model just like it.

could you do me a favor a e-mail me how you did the servo swap. hotrodhoodlum13@yahoo . com

  • Hey I'm doing this same mod. How did you do the rims?

  • cut out a the D-hub from an old xmod's set ans glue them to the center of your model rims - that's what i did ;)

  • Lol. this is a tough mod
