Dont call Child free people selfish. The decision to HAVE kids is just as selfish at least. Human beings are the only species who can make the decision to procreate or not, so that makes it a choice. I've made my choice. Peace.

This video doesn't identify any individual per se as selfish, it just says that there are such motivations for being childfree. I don't think you disagree. I know that it is hard to love humankind as a whole, almost impossible in fact, but one is faced with the fact that if one fails to love ones neighbours one can scarcely complain when one is not loved by them in return.

People who opt to have children will never be swayed from their burning desire to multiply. People who relish the childfree life will not want to complicate their lives with little dependents. The universal reason why childfree people don't want to have kids is because they feel no need to have them just like some people feel no need to take care of a horse or a dog or become a cop or a dentist.
