- i rather have a quality relationship with my soulmate then ruin it by having kids
- it is unethical
Dont call Child free people selfish. The decision to HAVE kids is just as selfish at least. Human beings are the only species who can make the decision to procreate or not, so that makes it a choice. I've made my choice. Peace.
@tsayad1986 It is indeed your choice to be, in your own words, a disinterested loner who dislikes children and considers his fellow man pollution, and it's MY choice to define that as a set of hallmarks of a deeply selfish person. Peace.
@usenetposts Infact im quite idealistic about a lot of things, but idealism is closely related to cynicism hence i dont have a very optimistic look on things. I like/ love some individuals but humankind as a whole... mweh.. Still i must say to you: respect for going vegan, and i wish more people followed your example in that way. On the selfish part: most reasons to have kids are deeply selfish, so maybe its best to leave the selfish part out of the discussion ;)
@tsayad1986 OK, it's up to people to examine themselves and decide whether their motives are selfish or not. This video doesn't identify any individual per se as selfish, it just says that there are such motivations for being childfree. I don't think you disagree. I know that it is hard to love humankind as a whole, almost impossible in fact, but one is faced with the fact that if one fails to love ones neighbours one can scarcely complain when one is not loved by them in return.
@usenetposts I agree that my decision is just as selfish as the decision to have kids. I also agree that people should try to do their utmost to make this world a better place. For some people this means NOT having children. I think if more people thought long and hard about wether to have kids or not there would be a lot less fucked up people growing up in the world (= less troubles overall?). People can contribute in a lot of ways, but even if you dont the decision is always yours
@tsayad1986 The week that the 7 billionth baby was born, I went vegan and decided never to drive again. This was an example to others, that if we all did it there'd been room for another 7 billion people with less of a challenge to the ecology of this planet than there is from 7 billion meat eaters who drive. Those lives are more important than for me to poison myself and others with animal proteins and car fumes.
Let's all be honest with ourselves. Regardless of how you feel about childrenn, there is very little that will change your mind on the matter. People who opt to have children will never be swayed from their burning desire to multiply. People who relish the childfree life will not want to complicate their lives with little dependents. The important thing we can all do though is respect each others' decisions and not start chastizing.
@Newsfop Let's all be honest, indeed. I very honestly respect some peoples' motives for remaining childfree. Eg, they are not sure that they are going to be sane enough to bring up a child, or they have some physical ailment, which either they feel should not be passed on or they can't physically have children because of it. Then there are those who don't want to even though they could, because it would inconvenience their lifestyle. I honestly disrespect those motives. So why pretend otherwise?
@Newsfop Because that lifestyle is neither your concern nor your business to pass requisite judgment. It could be argued that the parenting lifestyle is just as selfish. Many people's choice not to have kids may be because their careers would not accomodate such responsibilities. So I reiterate. You won't be changing anybody's minds by chastizing them for not doing what they are physically capable of doing.
@Newsfop That's not entirely true. I may not be able to on my own, but if people as a whole in society represent the view that in order to keep the human species going people need to step up to the plate - and that means higher birth rates among educated rish people, not just poorer third world people who will then fill that space bringing again the problems we thought we had solved for our societies, then that may well cause more people to think twice.
@usenetposts It's everyone's choice whether or not they want kids! Get over it! Would you rather them have kids and end up abusing them because they didn't want kids in the first place?!?!?! Yeah, I think not! And Just because my friend @SpavVy1993 has anxiety attacks DOES NOT mean she had a mental illness! So just back the hell off and stop trying to convince her of something that isn't even true! kthanksbye!
@Crystalization1994 Are you another one then? And why do I need to back off? Who the hell's video is this? Mine or a bunch of teenage goth freaks who think they've understood something's? Why don't you bring some more folk in to fight your battles?
Childfree people aren't selfish. Do you ever think there are people who shoulden't have children? It's not selfish to not have children but it's selfish to have a child you don't wan't.
@SpavVy1993 How can it be selfish to have a child you don't want? That's a contradiction in terms. If that's the best logic the childfree movement can come up with, then, so sorry, I still don't have any sympathy.
On the other hand I do have sympathy for those who would like to have a child and can't have one.
@usenetposts Some people just don't wan't any kids, why can't other people just respect that? It's ther choice their life and it's not hurting anyone.
I don't think it would be fair for the child that has parents that don't even want them.
And I too have sympathy for people who wan't children but can't have any I truly feel really bad for them.
@SpavVy1993 Please remember that my comments are not aimed at distressing anyone who would like to have children but cannot because they are not able because of some disorder or illness, and I'd include mental illness in that. I saw on your channel that you say you have anxiety attacks and so please don't take my comments as a criticism of you if you don't feel sure that you can manage bringing up a child.
I'm talking about people who could have kids, but just want to keep their money instead.
@usenetposts Just becouse I've been having anxiety attacks dosen't mean I suffer from a mental illness. I just don't wan't children. And the people who can have kids but don't wan't any shoulden't be criticized about their decision it's just stupid. Some people are happy the way they are living without any kids.
@SpavVy1993 Of course anxiety attacks are a mental illness. If that were not the case, the governments would not be giving early retirement to thousands of people diagnosed with anxiety disorder. What purpose does it serve to try to class this mental health problem as not a mental illness? Are you worried about the stigma of "mentally ill"? Well denial helps nobody. You should show solidarity instead.
You have a mental health problem, and you are in good company, as most people have them.
@usenetposts@SpavVy1993 You say that some people are happy the way they are without kids. I say you are absolutely right. Some people are happy the way they are being unemployed, too. That doesn't make them productive members of society, the fact that they are happy.
@usenetposts You can get Anxiety attacks even if you don't have a mental illness. I've been going through a lot of stress lately and I've been put in difficult situations I shoulden't have to deal with. you can get Anxiety from having too much stress and that's whats been happening to me but I'm not going to get far into that, I'm not in denial and I'm not mentally ill just overly stressed.
@usenetposts I'd rather not share that kind of information on the internet with somebody I don't know.
So I geuss this means I'm going to be unemployed and a burden to society for my choice. I geuss this means I'm nothing but filthy scum becouse I'm so braindead and heartless :)
@SpavVy1993 It's up to you. But I can't help you if I don't know anything about it. Nobody expects you to start having children if you are in a bad way and anyway you are too young to have made up your mind about that. In the future everything could change.
But if you are hallucinating and hearing voices in your head, you do need serious help, and I mean that kindly.
@usenetposts Did you just go my profile and read my conversations?
That's not cool, why did you go and read my conversations when I told you I didn't wan't to talk about it?
That is not a good way to try and help someone or gain their trust. And I'm not too young to decide on that many people have made that decision at the age of ten or older and are now in their late 30's and still have no children.
@SpavVy1993 I already had read them. I just think you need to be careful saying you don't want to talk about something in one public place when it's patently obvious you have talked about them in a dozen other public places. And then trying to shift the blame on me for that is another sign of your immaturity. Even if there are people who at ten can make that decision - which I don't believe - you still don't come across as someone who is in a fit state to decide on that big life question yet.
@usenetposts Oh really your saying I'm immature? So yes it was my fault for posting that on my friend's channel but what buisness do you have reading them? When I try telling you that people who don't wan't children are not selfish you go on my channel and start telling me I have a mental illness when I know I do not.
How bout shutting the hell up? You can sit there with your dick and talk crap, cause you don't have to go through the pain of pregnancy, labour and childbirth. I don't care if you have no sympathy for me, how dare you even talk? Stupid men, you should have been cursed with the childbearing then you won't be talking crap! "Give this to someone else..." What stupidness is that? "My" non-entity cannot sense anything idiot! It doesn't exist! Any woman that listens to you is a sheep.
@artep2122 Oh boo hoo, you self-pitying victim. You have no idea what I know about pain, or pleasure, and yet you bleat on. Any person who listens to me will learn something valuable, and anyone who closes their mind like you will stay stuck in their own preconceptions.
@usenetposts Really, so you would be willing to squeeze a child out of your dick if it were possible? I didn't say I know what you know about pain, but you sure as hell don't know how painful menstrual cycles and therefore childbirth pains are! You said you have no pity for me, and I am supposed to listen to you after that? To learn what valuable? To agree with you? That ain't happening fool. You say I "bleat" but the only sheep is the woman that opens her legs for you after this talk.
@artep2122 Well that woman, unlike you, has a brain and a heart. And she gave birth to three children despite having Multiple Sclerosis. You wouldn't have the moral right to bend down and clean her shoes.
Everybody should listen up, this guy has a VERY good point. Its funny, you see "childfree" people talk about the environment, but you never see them talk about economics. A part of me wants to mandate every "childfree" person take an economics class just so they can fully understand the impact of their choice.
btw- I do totally agree with you in the sense of people buying what they can't afford. It's what messed up our economy. Too many people live way beyond their means.
to be truly selfless people would be adopting all these unwanted children that are already in the world, not having more of their own. We should be helping the kids that are already in this world. So in my opinion all these breeders are actually selfish so they can't call the childfree selfish.
I think you need to look at how hard it is when you try to adopt a child, and then mouth off about it here. It's not at all relevant what you say, as many people would be happy to adopt children from poorer places, and all the PC brigade get up in arms.
@usenetposts Well, I have had none myself (actually can't have any), but I do sponsor them, so that the parents who love them can continue to raise them, but they also get an education and some kind of hope. I do hope to bring libraries to more children in the world; I worked on one for a village in Africa.
@AmusedChild Good. Well, I am certainly not addressing the criticisms I make in this to people like you. I know there are people who don't have children because they cannot have them, and I know that some people who don't have children do a lot for other people's children. I really have nothing to say against these people.
I do have things to say against people who go around with an "it's my life" attitude. If others had had this attitude, they wouldn't be here.
@usenetposts But it is their life! And mine too - I'm not broken up about my infertility, and not trying for IVF. ("Good"?) To say "But what if everyone did not have kids" is not really an argument, just emotional blackmail. If everyone had children, people would figure out pretty quickly how many invisible supports to parents via society unchilded people give.
People will never stop having children. The number of couples who have decided to not breed is only 20%. This is not endangering the future of the human race.
It is, because those who do so are among the better off and more educated, and over many iterations that will cause demographic ructions in the course of 200-300 years.
I time ahead of now to which I could not possibly hope to care less. I do my part to keep the earth safe. Let's see how these illegitimate knaves of the future do keeping the big round ball from catching on fire.
This guy can go F himself if he thinks its so terrible that I don't have children. And if its so important that I have kids then how about this fat ugly jerk off pay for them for me.
My life, my decision to NOT screw it up with kids.
from your comment its more like its a shame your mother didn't think the way i do
She'd have saved the world from a mean rotten miserable pathetic excuse for a person that has to say crap like that to total strangers just because their life decisions differ from your own.
Your comment makes you sound like a stupid breeder that regrets having kids and wishes you could go back and do it over.
You're not very good at interpreting me, which is a pity as you are totally transparent yourself. Pretending to be against kids but you love that tiny nephew of yours so much you've even made him your channel icon. I know you dearly want kids, and I'm sorry, but I cannot help you with that question, as I have my own angel at home and our tiny offsprings pattering about.
I cannot cast my bread upon the waters. But good luck with that in other quarters.
You're not very good at interpreting others either. Just because someone doesn't want to have kids doesn't mean they dislike kids. I like horses, but that doesn't mean I want to raise one & be responsible for one. Annie is just saying that it would have been better if your mom didn't spawn an intolerant brat such as yourself.
Showing that you have contempt towards other people's decision to be childfree can only show that you're jealoeasily go to a sperm us.
If one wants children, they can go to the sperm bank or better yet adopt. A person cannot change their desicion to not have kids once they have kids, parenting is a lifetime commitment that only people who WANT to & can do it should. Andrea Yates, enough said.
This is not something I would argue with, on face value, nevertheless some people are afraid of taking that commitment not because they fear early death from some congenital disease or because they cannot have children, but that having kids would cramp their style and income levels. All they want to do is have fun and spend their money on themselves. Well the dinky days are soon over. Time will come when you have to die, and the only things that will live on are your art and your children.
Having extra money is only one of the perks with being childfree. The universal reason why childfree people don't want to have kids is because they feel no need to have them just like some people feel no need to take care of a horse or a dog or become a cop or a dentist. Being a cop or a dentist may be an honorable position, but its not something everyone is interested in being. Wanting to achieve some sort of immortality through your kids is not a valid reason to have them, its also selfish.
People can live through themselves, their own achievements, & in the memories of their family & friends instead of through putting another baby into the world like everyone else. Its not a hard concept that some people don't ever want kids.
Two can play this game. I see a lot of parents who treat their kids like they're accessories. They spend their money all for their self interest & don't bother doing community service unless its a family outing thing that their kids are doing.
How are you going to "live through the memories of their family" if they do not care to establish the next generation of their family? Are these future generations of family gonna come along without people having kids, somehow?
As to your second paragraph, what you are not getting is that they ARE the community, and they ARE the service. The child-free on the other hand are just units, and self-service.
I listed other examples you know, you can actually make a positive difference in the world & live on like that if you wanted. Serial immortality is only an inherently egotistical reason to have kids. If one did care about it, it is not a big deal & it still isn't a good enough reason to have kids.
The childfree ARE the community too & breeding is NOT a service to the benefit of the community, especially if you cannot make them into productive citizens & are not fit to be a parent.
@kiwisunshine5233 True. Look at what is happening in the Philippines.. Manila has big overpopulation yet the catholic church is making it difficult for people to use birth control and such. Abortion is illigal so a lot of illigal abortion clinics are created (where a lot of girls can die). People cannot even take care of themself yet they have 8 or more kids. Let alone pollution and health problems in the area...
Who cares? Some people have children which is awesome. Some people remain childfree and keep their double income for spending on themselves or other relatives and friends. Spending keeps the economy going strong when people have the money to back it up.There are more people having children than not. I mean, people are adopting multiple children from other countries to make up their family. Live and let live.Everyones decision is the right one for them. Peace.
@Escalon206 I am not saying that people who chose to be childfree should be forcefully impregnated, I just think that there are those who choose to be childfree because they want to avoid commitments, after other people did make the same commitments for them. Some just like to avoid the expense. They are like the people who don't buy their round of drinks in the bar of life, and we don't like such people.
I see your point, but that is no reason to have children if you don't truly want them. To me that is more selfish than not having them at all. I'm not going to know the difference whether or not my memory carries on. I don't understand why humans are so self righteous they feel the need to somehow carry on after they die. Who cares? If you did something that wonderful people will remember you. If you didn't...well that's self explanatory.
OK, but your parents, grandparents and the whole chain didn't go each one making sacrifices for the next generation so that it could all culminate in your existence, for you to have a materially well-off life with no sense of duty to carry the chain on. It's extremely selfish.
@usenetposts I know you see things your way and I see them my own, we are different people with a right to make a choice, and I understand and respect yours. I have made the choice to be childfree instead of bringing an unwanted child into the world. That would be cruel. We don't need more unwanted children.
Yes that's true, although not all people wind up happy knowing they were unwanted. There are a lot of orphans and abused children as a result. But that aside, there is no right or wrong opinion to this, it's not even worth debating about. No offense intended of course. I respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it nor do I see the point in discussing it any further. Whether humans decide to have kids or not, is not an issue in my eyes. Peace.
@usenetposts You're forgetting the contributions that childfree aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends make to the parents of this world. There is no species in which every single individual reproduces. Your science is not sound. The relatedness of each sibling to its parent is the same; all of klb084's brothers and sisters have 50% of their DNA from the father and 50% from the mother. Therefore, your klb084's siblings carry on those genes, too. Individual differences are genetically slight.
In Russia, I understand Prez rasPutin is paying out stipends to young couples to have children. They are telling the people to go home, have sex, and 'make a patriot for the Motherland'.
Since Russia contains half the territory populable by human beings and there are only 140 million on there, the reports of the earth being overpopulated are all so-much illuminati nonsense.
Amen Davey! you show them Liberals on their recycle yourself policy!
Davey this is true, In America we see that people cant afford a normal fixed mortgage interest rate. so they get into an ARM adjustable rate mortgage and the banks increase the interest to 30%(no one can afford this 90% Americans are loosing thier homes). but good to hear this.:)
The amazing thing was I did this just two days before the subprime crash was announced. I could not have got the timing better. I don't claim any prophetic gift, though, other than a certain understanding ofhow these things work.
What will be the impact of low bithrates on the western world in lets say 50 years time? Will Europe have to import young workers from Afria and Asia?
I would be perfectly happy to take the suffering peoples of Africa out of tropical Africa en masse. Global warming is making their existence ther more and more threatened. I would encourage the Christian world to take the Christian Africans and the Moslem world to do the same for the Moslim Africans. I do not believe that Christians and Moslims integrate well, though. It is the only way to make sure aid gets to those who need it, not corrupt leaders who behave like scum.
Its nice to hear you think like that but sadly Europe is quite a xenophobic continent. Far-right parties are gaining more and more support. The west has contributed so much to the world, its sad to see its demise.
Indeed. Especially as the Chinese who are poised to take over from the west don't seem to have much true regard for our core values, although for the time being they are willing to pay lip-service to them.
I didn't call you one, I said I was guessing that you had been one in the not too distant past. Nevertheless, since you are claiming that that is not the case, I think you might start to act your age...
That's probably because you've just finished being one yourself, right? I'm guessing here, could be well off the mark, but if so, nothing wrong with that!
RE: <White hair at temples>'A trick of the Light??!' My good man would this 'trick of the light' by any chance come in a small bottle with an applicator? :) :) :)Hohhh-hoooo... (note the laughter is in a thick Russian accent)
My good Viktor: How in God's name did you manage to upload a video that is longer than 15 minutes?! The MAXIMUM length allowed is 10 minutes! This is a strict youtube rule well-enforced and punishable by extradition from England back to Russia! Please be careful!
You used to be able to get accounts that accepted longer than 10 minutes. The first people to set up director accounts were given this priviledge, and although later on setting up a director account no longer entitled one to have this length, they didn't renounce it for the first directors (but then again, these later director accounts are automatically approved, whereas the first directors went through a manual approval process).
Good Grief, Viktor! What is going on?? Here (august 2007??) Once again you look Veerry young and good looking! Your face is so smooth and young as opposed to that old man who sang 'Sandy' with the white hair on his temples and lines on his face, etc...you must have been wearing old make-up for that Sandy video, eh?
Pleasure. I get the impression you might also like my "Peter Paczek" videos, of which there are three on this channel buried under all the various other things, but can be found by searching on "paczek". Enjoy.
I love Peter *pronounced* Pontchek (means doughnut). Have been viewing your archives but didn't want to totally inundate you with comments. You, sir, are what we would call a *hoot*.
Many thanks! One of my Texan friends says "you're killing me, blue", which if I'm not mistaken is another description for someone that makes people laugh?
exellent video i to belive we are at the top or over the top of the housing boom, why do people not realise that this boom has been a bad thing, prices always going up is not go for anyone except EA`s and devlopers
the population in europe ain't going down yet. a lot of people are still moving to europe so it won't be going down in a lot of years in my opinion (and according to wikipedia).
It's only immigration that is causing the numbers not to tumble, but once immigrants arrive and are assimilated into the ways of life in Western cities they will also have fewer children in their families. Or, if they don't assimilate, because they hold for instance to radical Islam, then that will cause other social problems, making Europe a place that we will want to emigrate out of.
In former times we had enough money for this, but for some strange reason in these days of prosperity we don't have now. We don't - but somehow the Muslims do.
I am a Muslim. And I have to admit. I don't know how we do it either:)) Magic... It the same way in United States where I live. Probably because our families stick together and work together more than Europeans do. I don't know. Good video as always though. Thanx.
Well, I think we have a certain amount of things, such as family life, that we need to study and learn from you, or we will end up going extinct and you Muslims will inherit the earth.
I wouldn't want to. The world is beautiful in its diversity. А кризис на лицо. Особенно в России. Ничего, прорвемся:) Еще раз спасибо за все ваши видео.

usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts Just becouse I've been having anxiety attacks dosen't mean I suffer from a mental illness. I just don't wan't children. And the people who can have kids but don't wan't any shoulden't be criticized about their decision it's just stupid. Some people are happy the way they are living without any kids.
SpavVy1993 1 year ago
@SpavVy1993 Of course anxiety attacks are a mental illness. If that were not the case, the governments would not be giving early retirement to thousands of people diagnosed with anxiety disorder. What purpose does it serve to try to class this mental health problem as not a mental illness? Are you worried about the stigma of "mentally ill"? Well denial helps nobody. You should show solidarity instead.
You have a mental health problem, and you are in good company, as most people have them.
usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts @SpavVy1993 You say that some people are happy the way they are without kids. I say you are absolutely right. Some people are happy the way they are being unemployed, too. That doesn't make them productive members of society, the fact that they are happy.
usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts You can get Anxiety attacks even if you don't have a mental illness. I've been going through a lot of stress lately and I've been put in difficult situations I shoulden't have to deal with. you can get Anxiety from having too much stress and that's whats been happening to me but I'm not going to get far into that, I'm not in denial and I'm not mentally ill just overly stressed.
SpavVy1993 1 year ago
@SpavVy1993 Well I'm sorry to hear that. What caused you to be so stressed?
usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts I'd rather not share that kind of information on the internet with somebody I don't know.
So I geuss this means I'm going to be unemployed and a burden to society for my choice. I geuss this means I'm nothing but filthy scum becouse I'm so braindead and heartless :)
SpavVy1993 1 year ago
@SpavVy1993 It's up to you. But I can't help you if I don't know anything about it. Nobody expects you to start having children if you are in a bad way and anyway you are too young to have made up your mind about that. In the future everything could change.
But if you are hallucinating and hearing voices in your head, you do need serious help, and I mean that kindly.
usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts Did you just go my profile and read my conversations?
That's not cool, why did you go and read my conversations when I told you I didn't wan't to talk about it?
That is not a good way to try and help someone or gain their trust. And I'm not too young to decide on that many people have made that decision at the age of ten or older and are now in their late 30's and still have no children.
SpavVy1993 1 year ago
@SpavVy1993 I already had read them. I just think you need to be careful saying you don't want to talk about something in one public place when it's patently obvious you have talked about them in a dozen other public places. And then trying to shift the blame on me for that is another sign of your immaturity. Even if there are people who at ten can make that decision - which I don't believe - you still don't come across as someone who is in a fit state to decide on that big life question yet.
usenetposts 1 year ago

Any woman that listens to you is a sheep.
artep2122 1 year ago
@artep2122 Oh boo hoo, you self-pitying victim. You have no idea what I know about pain, or pleasure, and yet you bleat on. Any person who listens to me will learn something valuable, and anyone who closes their mind like you will stay stuck in their own preconceptions.
usenetposts 1 year ago

Its funny, you see "childfree" people talk about the environment, but you never see them talk about economics. to be truly selfless people would be adopting all these unwanted children that are already in the world, not having more of their own. We should be helping the kids that are already in this world. So in my opinion all these breeders are actually selfish so they can't call the childfree selfish.
gowest12 2 years ago
I think you need to look at how hard it is when you try to adopt a child, and then mouth off about it here. It's not at all relevant what you say, as many people would be happy to adopt children from poorer places, and all the PC brigade get up in arms.
usenetposts 2 years ago
@usenetposts Have you tried sponsoring a child?
AmusedChild 1 year ago
@AmusedChild I have 5 children, so I think I have sponsored quite a bit...
usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts Well, I have had none myself (actually can't have any), but I do sponsor them, so that the parents who love them can continue to raise them, but they also get an education and some kind of hope. I do hope to bring libraries to more children in the world; I worked on one for a village in Africa.
AmusedChild 1 year ago
@AmusedChild Good. Well, I am certainly not addressing the criticisms I make in this to people like you. I know there are people who don't have children because they cannot have them, and I know that some people who don't have children do a lot for other people's children. I really have nothing to say against these people.
I do have things to say against people who go around with an "it's my life" attitude. If others had had this attitude, they wouldn't be here.
usenetposts 1 year ago
@usenetposts But it is their life! And mine too - I'm not broken up about my infertility, and not trying for IVF. ("Good"?) To say "But what if everyone did not have kids" is not really an argument, just emotional blackmail. If everyone had children, people would figure out pretty quickly how many invisible supports to parents via society unchilded people give.
AmusedChild 1 year ago
@AmusedChild I'm sure some do, and my criticisms are not directed at them.

People will never stop having children. The number of couples who have decided to not breed is only 20%. This is not endangering the future of the human race.
Newsfop 2 years ago 3
It is, because those who do so are among the better off and more educated, and over many iterations that will cause demographic ructions in the course of 200-300 years.

from your comment its more like its a shame your mother didn't think the way i do
She'd have saved the world from a mean rotten miserable pathetic excuse for a person that has to say crap like that to total strangers just because their life decisions differ from your own.
Your comment makes you sound like a stupid breeder that regrets having kids and wishes you could go back and do it over.
AnnieNM06 3 years ago
You're not very good at interpreting me, which is a pity as you are totally transparent yourself. Pretending to be against kids but you love that tiny nephew of yours so much you've even made him your channel icon. I know you dearly want kids, and I'm sorry, but I cannot help you with that question, as I have my own angel at home and our tiny offsprings pattering about.
I cannot cast my bread upon the waters. But good luck with that in other quarters.
usenetposts 3 years ago
You're not very good at interpreting others either. Just because someone doesn't want to have kids doesn't mean they dislike kids. I like horses, but that doesn't mean I want to raise one & be responsible for one. Annie is just saying that it would have been better if your mom didn't spawn an intolerant brat such as yourself.
Showing that you have contempt towards other people's decision to be childfree can only show that you're jealoeasily go to a sperm us.
kiwisunshine5233 2 years ago
I'm not very good at interpreting the last line of what you wrote, that much is true.
usenetposts 2 years ago
I had spelling diarrhea on the last line when I couldn't fit everything I wanted to say into one post.
kiwisunshine5233 2 years ago
Better out than in.
usenetposts 2 years ago
If one wants children, they can go to the sperm bank or better yet adopt. A person cannot change their desicion to not have kids once they have kids, parenting is a lifetime commitment that only people who WANT to & can do it should. Andrea Yates, enough said.
kiwisunshine5233 2 years ago
This is not something I would argue with, on face value, nevertheless some people are afraid of taking that commitment not because they fear early death from some congenital disease or because they cannot have children, but that having kids would cramp their style and income levels. All they want to do is have fun and spend their money on themselves. Well the dinky days are soon over. Time will come when you have to die, and the only things that will live on are your art and your children.
usenetposts 2 years ago
Having extra money is only one of the perks with being childfree. The universal reason why childfree people don't want to have kids is because they feel no need to have them just like some people feel no need to take care of a horse or a dog or become a cop or a dentist. Being a cop or a dentist may be an honorable position, but its not something everyone is interested in being. Wanting to achieve some sort of immortality through your kids is not a valid reason to have them, its also selfish.
kiwisunshine5233 2 years ago 2
People can live through themselves, their own achievements, & in the memories of their family & friends instead of through putting another baby into the world like everyone else. Its not a hard concept that some people don't ever want kids.
Two can play this game. I see a lot of parents who treat their kids like they're accessories. They spend their money all for their self interest & don't bother doing community service unless its a family outing thing that their kids are doing.
kiwisunshine5233 2 years ago 2
How are you going to "live through the memories of their family" if they do not care to establish the next generation of their family? Are these future generations of family gonna come along without people having kids, somehow?
As to your second paragraph, what you are not getting is that they ARE the community, and they ARE the service. The child-free on the other hand are just units, and self-service.
usenetposts 2 years ago
I listed other examples you know, you can actually make a positive difference in the world & live on like that if you wanted. Serial immortality is only an inherently egotistical reason to have kids. If one did care about it, it is not a big deal & it still isn't a good enough reason to have kids.
The childfree ARE the community too & breeding is NOT a service to the benefit of the community, especially if you cannot make them into productive citizens & are not fit to be a parent.
kiwisunshine5233 2 years ago 4
@kiwisunshine5233 True. Look at what is happening in the Philippines.. Manila has big overpopulation yet the catholic church is making it difficult for people to use birth control and such. Abortion is illigal so a lot of illigal abortion clinics are created (where a lot of girls can die). People cannot even take care of themself yet they have 8 or more kids. Let alone pollution and health problems in the area...
tsayad1986 1 month ago
Peace.
Escalon206 2 years ago
@Escalon206 Spoken with wisdom and truth. Thank you.
klb084 2 years ago
@Escalon206 I am not saying that people who chose to be childfree should be forcefully impregnated, I just think that there are those who choose to be childfree because they want to avoid commitments, after other people did make the same commitments for them. Some just like to avoid the expense. They are like the people who don't buy their round of drinks in the bar of life, and we don't like such people.
usenetposts 1 year ago
I see your point, but that is no reason to have children if you don't truly want them. To me that is more selfish than not having them at all. I'm not going to know the difference whether or not my memory carries on. I don't understand why humans are so self righteous they feel the need to somehow carry on after they die. Who cares? If you did something that wonderful people will remember you. If you didn't...well that's self explanatory.
klb084 2 years ago
OK, but your parents, grandparents and the whole chain didn't go each one making sacrifices for the next generation so that it could all culminate in your existence, for you to have a materially well-off life with no sense of duty to carry the chain on. It's extremely selfish.
usenetposts 2 years ago
@usenetposts I know you see things your way and I see them my own, we are different people with a right to make a choice, and I understand and respect yours. I have made the choice to be childfree instead of bringing an unwanted child into the world. That would be cruel. We don't need more unwanted children.
klb084 2 years ago
Many people come into this world unplanned and not always in a way that is convenient for their parents. They still enjoy their lives.
usenetposts 2 years ago
Yes that's true, although not all people wind up happy knowing they were unwanted. There are a lot of orphans and abused children as a result. But that aside, there is no right or wrong opinion to this, it's not even worth debating about. No offense intended of course. I respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it nor do I see the point in discussing it any further. Whether humans decide to have kids or not, is not an issue in my eyes. Peace.
klb084 2 years ago
@usenetposts You're forgetting the contributions that childfree aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends make to the parents of this world. There is no species in which every single individual reproduces. Your science is not sound. The relatedness of each sibling to its parent is the same; all of klb084's brothers and sisters have 50% of their DNA from the father and 50% from the mother. Therefore, your klb084's siblings carry on those genes, too. Individual differences are genetically slight.

What will be the impact of low bithrates on the western world in lets say 50 years time? Will Europe have to import young workers from Afria and Asia?
ThecrazyworldofBM 4 years ago
I would be perfectly happy to take the suffering peoples of Africa out of tropical Africa en masse. Global warming is making their existence ther more and more threatened. I would encourage the Christian world to take the Christian Africans and the Moslem world to do the same for the Moslim Africans. I do not believe that Christians and Moslims integrate well, though. It is the only way to make sure aid gets to those who need it, not corrupt leaders who behave like scum.

godadameve 4 years ago
You used to be able to get accounts that accepted longer than 10 minutes. The first people to set up director accounts were given this priviledge, and although later on setting up a director account no longer entitled one to have this length, they didn't renounce it for the first directors (but then again, these later director accounts are automatically approved, whereas the first directors went through a manual approval process).

It's only immigration that is causing the numbers not to tumble, but once immigrants arrive and are assimilated into the ways of life in Western cities they will also have fewer children in their families. Or, if they don't assimilate, because they hold for instance to radical Islam, then that will cause other social problems, making Europe a place that we will want to emigrate out of.
usenetposts 4 years ago
fewer children is a smart thing. it's irresponsible to have 8 kids and not enough money to buy them new clothes cus they grow so fast.
